Nice place to stay, we enjoyed the fire pit so much as well as the hot tub. The instructions on the refrigerator were helpful. If you are mold sensitive be aware there seems to be a source in the basement and a bit of musty area.

Hi Jen. Really happy to hear you had fun and enjoyed some of the amenities. Sorry to see the comment about the basement. We’ve not heard that before and often use this property without issue. We even have this property fully waterproofed and a working dehumidifier to minimize moisture being on the lake. Thanks again Jen and Family.

The hot tub was ready to go. We were able to check in a bit early, which helped with traveling from out of state. It is also very close to everything we planned to visit! The only knock was the road to the property, but we managed and it’s not the owners fault.

Great get-away

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cabin. It was comfortable, beautifully updated, lots of room, nice lake front experience, quiet, near small town experience but also close enough to the airport, great distance from The Ark and The Creation Museum.

Cabin is exactly as described very quiet, peaceful and relaxing cabin. Has everything one would want. The grandkids especially enjoyed kayaking on the lake and fishing. We enjoyed having a family billiard tournament. We were there in enjoy Ark Encounter and the cabin was ideal and close. Donny was an excellent host and apologized for the work being done on the road during our stay.

Beautiful home, beautiful lake. The gravel road to the property is rough but scheduled to be worked on soon. Be sure not to drive a low sitting car until the road is fixed. The owner was very nice and responds to messages quickly. We would love to stay here again.

Great holiday trip

We booked this home as we were visiting the Ark and the Creation Museum with our grandkids and it worked out perfectly. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit was great for making s’mores. The unit was clean and comfortable.

Lake Stay

Great little getaway in Kentucky! We were in town to check out the Ark and Big Bone Lick, and we always love staying by the water, so this place was perfect for us. We've stayed at several rentals before, but this place has to be one of the cleanest. ccleanesWould definitely rent here again!

Relaxing Getaway

We loved our stay at the lake! We visited with anothe rcouple and our four children. The kids loved the hot tub, boating on the lake, and all the games. The new stairs down to the lake were amazing! We had a great time and the house was more than ebough space for the 8 of us.

Fantastic lake house!

The adults and teens in our party really enjoyed this great lake house! The kids had so much fun with the kayaks and everyone enjoyed the pool table and lake. We also enjoyed seeing the wildlife - deer and turkey. Would definitely stay there again the next time we are in the area!
