Escape to this fabulous 2-bedroom country house in Medina. Unwind in the pleasant ambiance of this retreat, featuring 2 queen beds and a cozy office space with a futon. Enjoy the tremendous amenities like a jetted bathtub, AC, and WiFi. Whether you're looking to relax or stay active in the recreation room, this property has something for all guests. We hope you enjoy what our place and Medina has to offer. Easy access to NE Ohio, a half hour from downtown Cleveland, and less than 20 minutes from Downtown Akron.

Note: Assume caretaker is on site 24/7 in separate area also with separate entry. Really great stay

The place was quiet and cozy, but well stocked for entertainment. The groundskeeper offered us fishing equipment, use of his paddle boat, and access to the fire pit as well as many other entertainment items inside the home. We didn't take advantage, but it was very kind. The place is a little older but well kept and comfortable. Mike was friendly and available for check in when we arrived. Overall, we really loved it and would absolutely stay again.

The house was beautiful, older and elegant. Our host Mike was very cordial and kind and respond quickly to any questions or concerns.. very helpful. This is probably the favorite of mine and Bill’s. I can’t say that I found anywhere where I felt comfortable in at home and peaceful.. we will be going back.

Medina Charmer

We found this gem of a property when we needed a reunion location halfway between my brother's house and mine. It was perfect for our needs. It was clean, spacious, and had amenities beyond expectations, including a large pond on premises, with one bedroom having a deck overlooking the pond. The other bedroom had an office area, which allowed my wife to get some work done on vacation. For people with mobility issues, it was also perfect for having all main living areas on the first floor, with a game room (foosball, billiards, exercise equipment) downstairs.The proprietor, Mike, lives downstairs in a separate apartment with a separate entrance. He was a prince and an absolute gentleman, and provided candles and water during an area-wide power outage after a storm. Mike also loaned us fishing rods to fish his pond, where my brother caught 6 largemouth bass on catch-and-release (or maybe one largemouth six times) and I caught nothing but my breath. Mike also has a flock of Khaki Campbell ducks, which were constantly amusing.The location, east of Medina proper, is within an hour of several attractions including the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, and the Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls.Trust me, it's hard to beat this place for a restful, bucolic getaway in the country.
