Hear the ocean waves from your doorstep at this charming coastal cottage! It is located 1/2 block from a peaceful no-drive beach and convenient beach access featuring bathrooms, showers, pavilions, grills, a playground and picnic tables! You can also stroll to a number of restaurants, bars with live music and karaoke, convenience stores, grocery store, outlet shopping, shipping center, and, of course, The Salty Mermaid Art Gallery & Studio! Perfectly located on a peninsula to enjoy both the spectacular beach sunrises and stunning river sunsets. This is not your typical rental property. It has been carefully prepared with lots of love and attention to detail to make it an enjoyable and memorable stay. It features 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, as well as two extra long, memory foam, roll away beds. It also includes all the extra touches of comfort... coffee, tea, creamers, snacks, toiletries, laundry products, charcoal & fluid for grilling out, beach chairs and towels, as well as card and board games, and cornhole. The bedding and pillows are top of the line to ensure you get the R&R you deserve. The dining room comfortably seats six. Washer and dryer is available for your use. Grill and dine out in the private fenced in back yard, featuring umbrellas and solar lighting.

Very clean house in great location. The backyard is fenced, beautifully decorated and a safe place for the dog. The kitchen has all the amenities you need.The host was very responsive and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at the Salty Mermaid Cottage. Perfect for families and pet friendly. Ideal location to walk to the beach. Penny was a great host with clear communication.

Great stay; great host. Backyard was really nice and private - perfect for our pups. Location makes it easy to get everywhere- quick walk to the beach and house has all the necessary beach gear. Would stay again.

beautiful home!

The house was beautiful! They put alot of thought into every little decoration around the house, alot of it looked custom. Definitely has major beach house vibes! The house has everything you need! Board games, TV's in every room, and even beach supplies! The bed was one of the comfiest ive ever slept on. It was like laying on a cloud! Check-in and out was super easy with no crazy check-out requirements. Little to no instructions at all that I was aware of. Pretty much right across the street from a nice beach park with restrooms, showers, and a playground. Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Would stay again!

Great beach house!

This is a wonderful beach house decorated so cute with the mermaid theme. It is a fantastic location right across from park. you can walk to park and see the beautiful sunrise. Also close to beach restaurants and yet very private patio. It is updated except for bathroom which is small but adequate.

The place was so cute and had to have been professionally decorated. It was so convenient to walk across the street to beach. Will be going back.

Perfect Stay

My two kids and I stayed at The Salty Mermaid Cottage for 3 nights and it was absolutely perfect. The cottage was clean, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we could need - from snacks, coffee and tea, towels, to beach chairs and a wagon. Oh, and even toothbrushes and toothpaste for each guest! Just in case we forgot. We felt so welcome and taken care of. The home itself is very well located. Just a few minutes' walk from the beach in a quiet neighborhood. The host is available to help with any questions through the app and helped us with a couple of things throughout our stay, communicating with us very quickly. I hope that the next time we are planning a trip to this part of Florida, The Salty Mermaid will be available for us to stay at! We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. Thank you again Penny for a memorable stay!
