Escape from everything in this quiet nook of Preston Beach. The log cabin is just ten minutes walk from the beach, listen to the crash of the waves as you sip a chilled beer in summer or snuggle up by the log fire in winter. This cabin is perfect for a couple and a dog just 1.5 hrs south of Perth!
Please note this is a log cabin, it's nestled in nature, we have renovated it using recycled wood from the salvage yard, up cycled furniture and Op Shop everything else - a real mid century vibe!

Cosy & Comfortable

The cabin was perfect for our winter break. On one of the wettest and windiest weekends the cabin was cosy and comfortable for humans and dogs. After long dogs walks either at the beach or further afield, it was a great spot to chill out. If you don't want to self-cater, be prepared to travel to find eating places.

Amazing little cabin to stay. We really enjoyed our couple of nights away in the log cabin with our big old lazy girl. She loved being snuggled up by the fire. Sophie & Zak were really easy to communicate with and they were very accommodating. Our dog was very stoaked when we arrived and gave her a little treat out the biccy bowl provided too :) . Will definitely highly recommend & be keen to stay again when we are down that way. Loved all the little set up of antique stuff around the place. And the bed was very comfortable!. 10/10 for sure. Especially being pet friendly. Thank you again Sophie & Zak for accommodating us & our dog for our staycation down south :) .

Lovely cozy cabin indeed, nestled amongst the trees serenaded by the birds. Super comfy bed. My pup finally by the 3rd early morning succumbed to the sound of the resident skink in the roof. Lol. Thankyou for welcoming us and my pup to your piece of paradise ps pup Sass left her big blue ball, i did tell her to pack up her toys! The cleaner found it luckily.hope to return again soon

We bought the cabin back in 2022, it was bare and a bit sad so we have renovated it using recycled bits and pieces. Now it is a really special place to stay, it is so peaceful and you can really switch off!
