Located in Walkerville Mi, enjoy what this 2-bedroom knotty pine cottage has to offer. This beautiful property features 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds, as well as a bunkhouse that sleeps 6 if you have more than 4 guests. A cozy living space with a full bathroom, and a very large sunroom with unparalleled lakefront views. As well as comfortable furniture to relax in. A full kitchen with a microwave, stove, refrigerator and cabinets to store your food in. This cottage is nestled in the peaceful setting of the Manistee National forest. Guests can unplug, unwind and relax in this cozy retreat. Enjoy the beautiful 182 acre all sport lake, lakefront cottage.

There is so much to enjoy as you relax or go and explore. Enjoy beautiful sunsets, looking for the Loons, trying to spot the bald eagles, a dock to throw a fishing line off of, sunning on the beach, or just reading a book in a lounge chair. There is a big yard to play games in and an outdoor table for 4 if you want to dine outside. We also have 4 Kayaks and a canoe for you to enjoy the water with. After a busy day of either relaxing or being on the water, sit by the campfire and enjoy the sound of the lake slowing down, the cracking of the fire, the smell of marshmallows roasting and the Loons singing. Oh and did I mention the beautiful sunsets on the lake?

In case you forget something at home or need anything during your stay, nearby Walkerville has a Dollar General and a Family Dollar, and the town of Hart has a grocery store.There are also so many other things to do around this area. The towns of Silver lake, Pentwater and Ludington offer quant downtown shopping at mom and pop stores, as well as delicious dining options and outdoor recreation, all within a 30 - 40 minute drive. Take a dune buggy tour of Silver Lake Dunes or enjoy them on foot. Enjoy waterfront dining and great little shops in Pentwater. If you're looking for food options closer to our cottage, there are 3 taverns within a 15 minute drive all with food and drink.

Cozy cottage on beautiful lake

The cottage was perfect. It's clean, the beds were comfortable, the lake is perfect for floating around and boating, kayaking, fishing. It was so nice because the house is shaded in the afternoon which helps on the hot, muggy days. Dawn is a wonderful host. We will definitely stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay. The vintage cottage was adorable. The lake was so beautiful and peaceful. Our host Dawn was very nice and friendly to us. We hope to be back again.

The cottage is wonderful! It was the cleanest house I’ve probably ever seen. My family stayed here for a weekend trip and we chose the perfect spot. It was very comfortable and the lake was so fun. There were yard games and adequate kitchen supplies. The beds were comfortable. It does not have WiFi, but some cell service worked. I honestly liked this because it made my teenage siblings be present with us, and it made our trip better. The house is so cozy and fun. We played the yard and card games that were there as well. Overall, very great stay and we hope to be back soon!
