There is so much to enjoy as you relax or go and explore. Enjoy beautiful sunsets, looking for the Loons, trying to spot the bald eagles, a dock to throw a fishing line off of, sunning on the beach, or just reading a book in a lounge chair. There is a big yard to play games in and an outdoor table for 4 if you want to dine outside. We also have 4 Kayaks for you to enjoy the water with. After a busy day of either relaxing or being on the water, sit by the campfire and enjoy the sound of the lake slowing down, the cracking of the fire, the smell of marshmallows roasting and the Loons singing. Oh and did I mention the beautiful sunsets on the lake?

In case you forget something at home or need anything during your stay, nearby Walkerville has a Dollar General and a Family Dollar, and the town of Hart has a grocery store.There are also so many other things to do around this area. The towns of Silver lake, Pentwater and Ludington offer quant downtown shopping at mom and pop stores, as well as delicious dining options and outdoor recreation, all within a 30 - 40 minute drive. Take a dune buggy tour of Silver Lake Dunes or enjoy them on foot. Enjoy waterfront dining and great little shops in Pentwater. If you're looking for food options closer to our cottage, there are 3 taverns within a 15 minute drive all with food and drink.
