Welcome to this charming remodeled bunkhouse tucked inside a lovely barn in Yelm. This fabulous rental features 3 cozy bedrooms with 1 queen bed and 2 full beds, perfect for a wonderful stay. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like heating, a washing machine, a hair dryer, and WiFi, TV, barbecue outside seating. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and a hair dryer for your comfort. We're happy to assist with any questions while you stay at our bunkhouse style apartment. Horse stalls and arena are also available for an additional fee.

Very charming and peaceful bunkhouse. We stayed for Thanksgiving and absolutely loved the festive decorations and the pumpkin roll. I would definitely stay here again.

Family Vacation

Great place that's off the beaten path yet close to town. Bonnie was fantastic, she showed us the property and had fresh baked cookies waiting. Would recommend to anyone visiting.

Great Stay!

Property was beautiful and had everything needed! Bonnie, the owner was so kind and generous! There was fresh baked cookies and cut flowers left for our arrival . Would definitely stay again

The property was amazing, it was quaint and quiet. I was able to sit out on the front porch at morning drinking coffee and just soaking up the refreshing cool air. Bonnie was wonderful and had Homemade Strawberry Bread waiting for us, we devoured the whole thing. It was close enough to things we wanted to do and to any food choices we had. I can't wait to go back.

We really lucked out with this. Brillianr place. Only hiccup was trying to find it as sat nav misdirected us. In the end Bonnie drove out to find us which was really kind. Would recommend looking for the sign for Pack Rat Pat’s which is on the same turn off. Really good facilities, comfy beds, great shower, nice big kitchen (dishwasher, air fryer, big stove and fridge freezer, coffee maker), veranda with BBQ and views of the cows. Nice friendly dogs that come to greet you as you arrive.

Peace in the country

Bonnie was excellent in kindness, communication and warmth. Home baked cookies to greet my grandkids! A beautiful country feel and I so enjoyed a morning cup of coffee on the porch! We loved it.

Exactly what we were looking for!

We were looking for something with a beautiful scenery and just the feeling of being away from all the chaos of life... That's exactly what we got! Such a beautiful bunk house. Friendly owners. Sweetest of dogs. super cute cows first thing in the morning when you open the door! All in all, Just an amazing and beautiful experience. We definitely will be back sometime soon!

Super fun trip! We loved our stay at the Bunkhouse. Bonnie had delicious cookies awaiting us (which both my husband and granddaughter agree are "the best cookies ever!"The bunkhouse is so comfortable and felt like home. She had everything we needed! We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the cows and looking at the beautiful trees. Very peaceful, it's like a little slice of heaven there. We walked around the property and my granddaughter enjoyed petting the horses and the friendly dogs. It's not too far from town, but feels like you are. I also enjoyed being able to run on the road, it's not busy so it felt safe. We definitely recommend staying here and we will be back again next year!

Charming guest house, farm animals were fun

Loved the 3 bedrooms, cute decor, big kitchen. If internet is important to you check with host to see if it’s working. It wasn’t for us. I brought games and books for the evening so we entertained ourselves. Mattresses are very firm.

Great Bunkhouse in a horse stable!

This unique apartment is housed in a horse stable. There were 3 in residence when we arrived. Pastures with cows and corrals. This is a true working mini farm. The bunkhouse itself is spacious & clean. Full of rustic charm with modern amenities.

Down home country comfort!

The bunkhouse was fabulous! Very charming and cozy with great country views. My husband enjoyed some quiet time downstairs by the fire while our boys tossed a football in the yard. True down home country comfort. The bedrooms were comfortable and the house was loaded with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The host, Bonnie, is a spitfire of energy and will make sure you have everything you need. She even had warm cookies waiting for us when we arrived! Truly thoughtful and caring host. Highly recommend and hope to visit again soon!

Absolutely amazing!

We stayed at the bunk house for three nights, the beds were very comfortable and clean. The entire aesthetic was so cute and comfortable and it flowed throughout the whole house. It’s got a great country feel that makes you feel comfortable and the hospitality was beyond expectations. Bonnie even made a delicious chocolate loaf bread that was an awesome touch especially after driving all day. It’s secluded and beautiful property but close to downtown Yelm and only about 45 minutes to Rainier National Park and less than thirty minutes from the Lacey/ Olympia area. The people are very friendly and Bonnie was wonderful. She was so kind and welcoming; made my kids and I feel right at home. She even let me take photos of my kiddos in front of her old T-Bird out front, which adds to the entire ambiance. I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone. It’s perfect.

It’s in a barn.

I was surprised to drive up to a barn. It was super hard to find. We were lucky to have a neighbor drive up to us while we were looking for it and lead us there. Fortunately the smell did not penetrate into the rental unit, which was very clean. Cute decorations, nicely equipped kitchen. “Bedrooms” have no windows. Kitchen cabinets are rough lumber with wire netting that stabbed my fingers trying to close. Overall ok, but I would most likely rent elsewhere next time.
