Very pretty grounds, compact but comfortable space. WONDERFUL views. Easily walkable to nearby state park. Kitchen really tiny but we managed three lovely meals a day. Property itself is not large, but well planted to preserve privacy. We had a fine time.

This is an awesome place for a couple to stay for a romantic vacation or any sort of visit to the wonderful Pacific Northwest. Seattle is within easy reach, as well as Mount Rainier and Mount St. Helens. Hood Canal and the Olympic Peninsula are also an easy drive from this property. If this wasn’t enough, the hosts are truly very special people. Barb and Dick go far beyond any hosts I have encountered to ensure their guests feel like friends and family, rather than merely customers. I simply cannot recommend this place and these hosts enough!!

The hosts met us at check-in to describe the many amenities and to remind us that they were available to help us. The space was small but functionally efficient. There were many places to relax and hang out with friends. Every place on the property was beautiful with excellent views of the sound. Definitely worth a repeat visit.

The hosts, Dick and Barbara, were very friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful view in a nice cozy cottage. Loved having the breakfast ready for us when we arrived. Clean and well stocked with cooking and dining needs.

The accommodations are on the small side, but the setting and grounds are beautiful. We really enjoyed hikes through Tolmie State Park (just minutes from the property), kayaking in the bay, and chatting with the property owners. The eggs and muffins for the first morning was a nice touch. And overall we were very comfortable. The property sits up on the cliffs; to access the beach you have to walk down a steep path--not really ideal for anyone with bad knees, but for those who are a little more adventurous it was totally fine. Great property!

Check in was a breeze and thoughtful host gifts were offered during our stay. The location of the property is excellent with view of the Puget sound, Tolmie State park within easy walking distance and a fire pit and kayaks on the beach for guest use.

A wonderful place to stay!

I recently stayed at the cottage on a vacation with my family. It is such a wonderful place to stay. So clean and comfortable. It is in a great location to take day trips to some of the wonderful parks nearby. We would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful panoramic views! We enjoyed kayaking, beach combing, hiking the trails at Tolmie state park, dining at nearby restaurants and reading in the hammock. So peaceful and relaxing! We will definitely make it a yearly tradition!

We had a wonderful stay visiting family in Olympia. The cottage is cozy and quaint and view can't be beat! Really appreciated all the nice touches from our sweet hosts. We look forward to coming back!
