Located in the northern outskirts of Watkins Glen in a farmland setting, come and enjoy what this 3-bedroom house has to offer. With three bedrooms (2 full beds and 1 queen bed) you and your guests can truly relax in this comfortable property. The house features central heat and AC. The 2 full bathrooms are both freshly renovated. A fully equipped stone patio just outside is the perfect gathering spot after a busy day of sightseeing, boating or hiking. A short trail leads to a wooded streamside retreat, perfect for some quiet time. This property does not have a television or wifi, Perfect to go off the grid and relax.

The place was very nice and clean. There was a slight sulfer smell to the water possible from a well but other than that it was a great place to stay for the weekend

Very quant and enjoyable. No TV or WiFi was not a problem being on vacation. Mobile phone reception was perfectly fine. Good location for sightseeing and eating. Minor issue was no tissues anywhere.

Unfortunately, due to weather I am sure and with it being well water we could not shower or run the sinks. The over whelming smell of the sulfur was rotten eggs overload. We had to air out the house and use bottled water to brush our teeth. Property itself was beautiful and location was perfect.

Very cute and comfortable home. We loved the fire pit outside and the backyard. Very private and secluded. Only a few minute drive to town and Watkins Glen!

Our stay

The house was very welcoming and comfortable. No tv’s for the younger children so we had to keep them busy with games.

Clean, quiet, isolated, cozy

Went w/ family. House seemed newly renovated (basically everything inside seemed new; house is freshly painted inside.) Comfy beds.House was cozy and warm, a bit less than 10 min from Watkins Glen. Owners were easy to deal with.No Wifi or TV, but we didn't want to watch TV and AT&T seemed to work fine. If we were in area again, would definitely return.

House smelled super clean upon arrival. Appliances looked brand new.Sheets were soft and towels too. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere inside and out. Nice view at night, thanks for the wood supply. More basic cooking tools would be helpful… broiler pan, baking sheets, casserole dishes, wine glasses. Having tin foil and plastic wrap would be good. Light on garage was very bright at night and did make it difficult to see the stars.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for us all and a beautiful setting. Close to all the places we wanted to see. Unfortunately there were a few things that we feel should be addressed. Large hornets nest on outside of garage, very aggressive. Asked for it to be taken down, not done during our stay. One was found in a bed. Thankfully it didnt sting. Lots of flies in the house. Toilet bowl was clean upstairs, but base of toilet was dirty with hair and urine. Leftover bodywashes and shampoos left in showers. Dirty socks under 1 bed, and under couch has food, and water bottle. Cleaning could be better. There is a broken window in the livingroom unpon arrival. Could use Kleenex, iron and ssme ice trays
