The Snowshoe Cabin is a beautifully handcrafted log home built in 2025. Tucked back in the pines on a remote cul de sac, our cabin is surrounded by nothing but mountains, moose, and forest on all four sides. Sitting at a healthy 10,980 feet above sea level we have views of both Mt Silverheels across the valley, and Mt Bross just to the northwest. If youâre looking for seclusion within a stoneâs throw of mountain amenities, youâve found your place.
Whether it be summer or winter, our cabin makes a great base camp for just about any outdoor activity. With world class skiing and snow boarding just over the pass you can be on the slopes within 45 minutes or less. If snowshoeing or backcountry skiing is your thing there are plenty of trails that crisscross the nearby mountains as well.
The summer enthusiast doesn't have far to go for adventure either. From fly fishing gold medal trout water, to climbing, hiking and white water rafting, our cabin is at the center of anything and everything outdoors.
The cabin itself offers all the comforts of home away from home. A vaulted ceiling with giant picture windows gives the main floor living and dinning rooms an open feel. The kitchen, with all new stainless steel appliances, has a rustic but modern look and offers plenty of cooking/serving space atop beautiful quartz countertops. Just off the kitchen is the master bedroom. Designed with views in mind, our cozy queen bed is the perfect place to watch the sun rise over Mount Bross, or spend the morning with a book and a cup of Joe. Either way you're only a few steps from a full bathroom where you can ready yourself for the day and enjoy a warm shower if you like. The washer and dryer are located next to the master and separated in their own closet.
Downstairs from the main floor is a walkout basement. Here you will find our family room which includes a comfy couch, recliner, and a large screen TV (wifi and streaming enabled). Just down the hall is another bedroom and a second bathroom and shower.
Our loft is a kid favorite. Two twin beds offer additional sleeping as well as separation from the rest of the cabin. It's also a great place for playing games or just hanging out to watch a sunset over Mount Silverheels. The view is truly amazing!
