The place looked clean but wasn't up to my standards. There were dirty dishes in the cabinet. The floors were sandy which shouldn't have been when we arrived. The pool was full of drunks. My girls were in the hot tub and this guy comes over offers them a drink and when they refused he poured it in the hot tub and in the pool. The complimentary stuff that most bnb have said it had to be replaced right down to the toilet paper. Needless to say we didnt use that stuff. The beds were very uncomfortable. If you like springs your good to go. The TV in the living room kept cutting itself on. We eventually just unplugged it. The parking decal fell off my kids rear view mirror half way threw our trip and we got a final notice that our car would be towed. We had been there for days they should be paying attention to who comes and goes especially if they are recording every move we make. That really got under our skin since we were unable to use the pool and they allowed people to stay in the pool past 10pm which is a rule they sometimes enforced. Drinking and smoking like it was a party all week long. I will not be staying at this bnb again. I read the reviews I should have taken that as a hint not to rent this place but I waited last minute and most places were booked out. I will say they said keep the A/C on 70 or higher. I was skeptical at first cause I like cold cold but it was comfortable at 70 so the A/C works well and the home is insulated great.
We stay at the rookery every summer. My family owns 2902 in the rookery. The refrigerator could not keep up. Maintenance guy needed to come out and clean coils. Towel rack in one bathroom fell off the wall. Door knob to guest bedroom came off. Master door handle was about to fall off. Cable television did not work the first three days. Light fixture over dining table is secured on the ceiling but then raised with a coat hanger from a department store. The kids bunks did not have enough wooden slats so when my son went to bed he almost fell through. Most Everything was eventually fixed throughout the stay. Just needs to be improved and inspected before arrival.
