The home had really thoughtful touches - the tea selection and board game assortment in particular stood out to me-and it was a nicely decorated space. The home has a convenient location to New Paltz and Poughkeepsie and the hosts had great communication. I would recommend staying at this home if you’re going to be in the area.

The hosts were very responsive ahead of time, providing necessary details for our stay. During our stay, the hosts checked in with us to see if we needed anything. Our accommodations were adorable, clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again if ever back in the area.

Our host was very responsive and helpful. They were very accommodating when we notified them of our late arrival time. The apartment was super clean, cozy, quiet and well-appointed. A good nights sleep in a comfy bed deserves high ratings! It was perfect for 2 of us on a short weekend visit. Its location is rural so shops, stores, etc are a short drive away. It is also within 20 minutes drive to nearby colleges.

We wanted to love this property. It’s very convenient to the bike path and they offered a way to charge our ebikes. Unfortunately it was very noisy, we could hear the home owners talking and the TV or music. When stink bugs were coming in to the apartment they did not offer any solutions even though we were careful to keep the door closed and had killed about 20 of them. This property definitely has potential though and there were many nice touches.

Great stay!

We stayed for two nights and had a great stay. The owners were easy to communicate with and the house is clean and comfortable. The location is also perfect for visiting local wineries and the New Paltz area. We would definitely stay here again!

Mar is originally from Florida and Nick is from Connecticut. We met in Brooklyn and have been on a grand adventure together ever since, from the city that never sleeps, to living in an RV traveling across the country, to planting in Denver, Colorado for a few years - we have enjoyed the many landscapes of the US. After moving back to NYC and then to the Hudson Valley, we decided to become airbnb hosts and have enjoyed it so much!

We adore our hamlet of Clintondale, surrounded by apple orchards and vineyards, yet close to all the happenings in New Paltz and the surrounding area. We also love being so close to Minnewaska State Park Preserve and some of the most beautiful aspects of the Hudson Valley.
