Shawangunk Homestead - comfy, posh apartment near Minnewaska

This beautiful 2 - bedroom guest apartment is a cushy launch pad for climbing in the Gunks, hiking at Minnewaska, biking the rail trail and exploring the glorious Hudson Valley. 10 minutes from the congestion of New Paltz, this peaceful apartment has all the amenities of home; a private entrance, dishwasher, full bath, full kitchen, laundry, TV and WiFi. The bedrooms feature a comfortable queen bed, or a twin bed that converts to a firm king bed. There is even a massage chair! We are a small homestead with orchards, a garden and chickens. Bring your dog, we are pet friendly for friendly pets and offer doggy daycare in a beautiful dog run. We love families, the extra person fees do not apply to children but please request that they are removed - VRBO does not do this automatically. The Hamlet of Gardiner with restaurants, antiques, art shops and the Walkill Valley Rail Trail is a short walk. This is a great place to recharge with a weekend away, or a respite for weary travelers.
