Venez profiter de votre séjour dans notre spacieux Pocono Lakefront Retreat. Situé sur le lac Henry pittoresque et privé, savourez le plaisir du kayak, du canoë, de la pêche et de la natation. Utilisez notre chaloupe, notre canot ou notre kayak ou apportez votre bateau à moteur pour faire du tubing, du wakeboard et du ski. Profitez de vos activités préférées «passer le temps» sur le quai pendant la journée et de magnifiques couchers de soleil le soir. Si vous avez besoin d'une journée loin de l'eau, il existe de nombreuses activités à proximité. De l'autre côté de la route, il y a 1 000 acres de gibier d'État pour se promener, géocacher ou chasser. En trente minutes, il y a plusieurs attractions telles que le zoo Claws & Paws, le site historique national du lac Wallenpaupak SteamTown, les visites de la mine de charbon Lackawanna, Scranton, le montage Mountain Resort, Elk Mountain Resort et plusieurs parcs d'État.

Notre maison est parfaite pour une grande famille ou un groupe d'amis. Il offre un beau plan d'étage ouvert avec des plafonds cathédrale et des fenêtres enveloppantes. La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec tous les services et fournitures de cuisine. Micro-ondes et cafetière sont également disponibles. Laissez les enfants jouer au billard, au ping-pong ou au mini-baby-foot au rez-de-chaussée ou sur notre vaste terrasse enveloppante. Il y a une chambre à l'étage principal et 2 chambres à l'étage. L'aire de stationnement peut accueillir 3-4 voitures.

We LOVED it! Great house qith plenty of space! Every place we have ever rented aleays lists that the home is stocked with everything you'll need, but this house absolutely was!! I always bring cooking equipment and cooking utensils because homes usualky don't actually have decent items to prepare a meal for a family, this did!Very clean! Outdoor screen porch deck and yard area with fore pit was great! The dock was beautiful and we utilized the paddle boards, row boat and some swimming floats and noodles. Nice quiet road . We enjoyed fishing and did not turn on tje television once!! We will be back!!!Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Loving the Lake Henry Life…

August 12, 2023 Your very comfortable room accommodations and generous living spaces were exceptional and well-suited for our family. The weather cooperated and was perfect for picture-taking, swimming, boating, sunning, reading, relaxing, and fishing right from your spacious, family-friendly dock. Your basement areas for playing pool and ping-pong were also a welcome break on our one rainy day. Having your washer and dryer there, made planning and packing less stressful and gave us more time to enjoy each others’ company. We utilized the grill, the multitude of pots and pans for the stove, and even baking dishes for our now famous Mac and Cheese and English muffin pizzas. Our meals were especially delicious and hearty, because of your full-sized oven and available seasonings and spices. We had so many enjoyable mornings on the wrap-round deck and evenings in the screened room: playing cards, dining (bug-free!), reconnecting, listening to nature’s sounds, and then feeling the quiet, stillness that only comes from a mountain home, such as yours. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful home with us! We were never ready to leave, but we know we plan to return to your lovely piece of heaven, again, very soon. Thank you again, Rob & Michelle!

Family Time Lake Henry

A true Off the radar Pocono gem. We really enjoyed our 12 days at this roomy cabin by the lake. The grand kids loved exploring the lake, having a campfire and fishing (lots of bluegill!) right off the dock. The owner was responsive and helpful. The adults appreciated the peace and quiet of this bucolic location!

Nice stay and good host

This is our second time staying here. Nice quiet area and property. Communication with the owners is excellent. I'd recommend to anyone looking to get away and relax.

Beautiful, spacious retreat

Our family of five truly enjoyed this wonderful home on Lake Henry! The sleeping accommodations were plentiful. We had choices of many bedrooms and beds so we were able to go to sleep and wake up without disturbing anyone else. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, bowls, pots, pans and every utensil we could possibly need. We spent many days outside enjoying the screened room, deck, and picnic table, with sunsets included. And inside, playing ping pong, pool, and pinochle, too. (We also caught some Olympic highlights with Rob’s help- Thank you!!) We spent countless hours catching lots of sunnies and perch off the dock. We were able to take a couple of trips on the rowboat around the lake, too! Though we were here during some unusually cool days in August, we swam almost everyday. We were even lucky enough to spot a little turtle in the lake that we named Henry! He appears to love leftover Fritos!! We had been long-term Summer residents of Lake Henry at another cottage, but now were very happy to have found Rob and Michelle, and their spectacular home. Thank you for another memory-filled vacation this summer. We look forward to a return trip!

Our family enjoyed our stay at Lake Henry. Everyone had a great time. The dock was perfect for our boat and our Grandsons caught plenty of panfish.

Wonderful!!

We couldn't be more grateful. The house is lovely, with plenty of room and sleeping spaces. Beautiful views of the lake, and situated in the woods. We were able to use the canoe, and had everything we needed to enjoy the stay. For those needing a getaway in these crazy times, this was perfect. We had 4 people doing online meetings at once, with no glitches and plenty of room for privacy. Our hosts were extraordinarily kind and thoughtful, and extremely responsive. Just a great getaway for our quarantined family.

We had a great time at the lake. Nice property with plenty of things to do. If you want some easy fishing for kids there are a million little sunnies right off the dock just waiting for them. Liked having dinner on screened in porch and having a fire in the firepit at night.

it was as advertised-no surprises. House was clean and everything in good working condition.

Really enjoyed ourselves. The only negatives were some kinds of gnats throughout the 1st level and most of the pool cues did not have any tips on them. O/T that it was perfect for our family to enjoy for the 3 days.

Fantastic summer vacation home

We had an amazing experience up at Lake Henry. The house is spacious with lots to do, and the lake is absolutely gorgeous. And of course, the owners were always more than willing to help, even with the smallest questions. I highly recommend staying here for anybody looking to have a nice group getaway, for an affordable price.

We had a great time at the lake house. Great family friendly location. Kids loved playing on the deck and watching the fire at night time. Lake was tons of fun for the kids as they were catching lots of fish from the dock.

Michelle and I (Rob) have been on Lake Henry for the past 28 years. Our girls love the water and the woods. Michelle is a teacher from upstate New York, and I'm currently a pastor from Lansdale, PA with a background in the medical field. We have incredible memories on this lake and would love to have you experience some as well.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

I love relaxing on the dock as well as having some fun in the lake too. This lake is a great secret. It's small enough that it's not on most people's radar, yet big enough to have a lot of fun tubing and wakeboarding. This lake is so peaceful. There also 1000 acres of state game lands to explore right across the street. You will find many other things to do closely, but we prefer to hang out at the lake!
