My stay at this property was amazing, starting with communication with the property manager. It feels like she has a answer to every question. Ericka provided recommendations to great restaurants,local hot spots and excursions that made my family happy. The property is flawless and friendly. There is nothing like a long day of travel and then walking 50 yards to the beach. This property is elite 10/10, please take great care of because I will be back very soon. Best vacation I have ever taken!

Staying at Erik’s home was one our most relaxing and enjoyable trips. The view of the bay, infinity pool, and surrounding areas was spectacular. Sunsets were incredible. The home was immaculate, furnishings/beds very comfortable, and appliances upper end. There is a beach bar (with plenty of seating/lounge chairs in the sun or shade), a restaurant, and food truck steps away, and other restaurants, grocery store and shopping within a short drive. Abundant activities include scuba, snorkeling, and hiking, as well as just relaxing at the water’s edge. Check in was very easy as we were met by the host’s representative and given a tour with specific instructions and contact information if we had questions. We highly recommend Erik’s home and would gladly stay there again.

This place is incredible! I’m an avid VRBO user around the globe and this place is definitely one of my favorite places thus far. To experience the island, you really need to rent a car. This place is set right in the middle of both the airport and downtown, so you have either a 10-15 minute drive to the airport or to downtown; however, you’re able to walk right out onto the beach or to a private pool overlooking the ocean. The beach has several fun restaurants/bars and a scuba shop where you can rent gear and head straight into the ocean to scuba or snorkel. Erik’s place is very clean, modern and cozy and the check in/out was extremely easy. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the island! Check out downtown as well if you have the time. The live music, the friendly locals and the cleanliness of this beautiful island is something you won’t want to miss!

Incredible Luxury and Location – A Hidden Gem

This condo is absolutely stunning—luxuriously appointed from top to bottom. Every detail, from the high-end furniture to the tasteful artwork, is truly first class. The large balcony is a highlight, featuring a dining table that seats 8 along with comfortable couches and chairs, all overlooking breathtaking views of the ocean, beach, and pool.The location of this unit on the second floor is absolutely prime. It offers the perfect blend of elevated views and convenience—you’re high enough for privacy and stunning scenery, yet just a short walk down to the pool deck and beach entrance. It truly doesn’t get better than this.Just steps from the building, you’ll find a beautifully maintained pool area that feels very private—ideal for a quiet afternoon of reading, lounging, or even a peaceful nap in the shade. And only about 30 feet from the pool is direct access to a gorgeous, soft-sand beach. I enjoyed snorkeling right off the shore, and my spouse went diving—it’s incredibly easy and accessible. The water is crystal-clear and ideal for both adventure and relaxation.There are also three fantastic restaurants within 100 yards, each offering incredibly high-quality food. Having traveled extensively and as a lifetime Titanium member with Marriott, I can confidently say this place is a hidden gem. Everything was exactly as described, if not better. I would return here in a heartbeat.

Just Perfect

First, I having been using VRBO and the like for years now and have stayed in many rentals around the world. In addition, I have visited Curacao 6 different occasions previously and have stayed at hotels, all inclusives, and the last 4 were at rental units. This was by far my favorite rental on Curacao and one of my favorite rentals that I have used around the world. The location is bar none when it comes to the island of Curacao. We are already planning our next trip here and will without a doubt be renting this unit again.The apartment/condo is located in the gated community of Blue Bay. 15 minutes from the airport and downtown Willemsted. The building is also gated and has plenty of parking spaces for the building. Private pool between the building and the beach. The beach is literally 75 feet from the pool through a private access gate. The beach at Blue Bay has lots to offer and we grabbed coffee and pizza at the two food trucks, drinks from our lounge chairs on the beach, dinner at the restaurant (I forget the name, but it was great), and we had a special dinner at Brass Boer (the restaurant by the late 3-Michelin Star Dutch chef). There’s a shop right there to rent snorkeling and scuba gear and other things like swim suits and sunscreen, etc. We did some other shore diving on the island and rented our tanks right there and took them with us. Had a wonderful week at Erik’s beach front condo! We rented a car but hardly left with all the amenities right there at Blue bay. The beach was just steps away. We would go down early to save a few chairs in the shade. The beach got pretty busy throughout the afternoon. There is a bar that has waitresses so you can easily order drinks / lunch from your lounger. Multiple restaurants in blue bay but we ventured out for dinner most evenings. The condo itself is a great set up.. lattes (there is a Nespresso machine) on the balcony every day! The TV is huge which was great and there is a VPN so you can easily use all of your normal streaming services.. we were able to watch the Super Bowl! The bed was comfy & the kitchen was equipped with the basics. You do have to be very conscious of your energy usage. We turned off the AC whenever we left and off in whatever room we weren’t in. There were only two of us and we still went over our limit a little. Erica the manager wanted us to pay in cash and we did not have cash on us. If you are a bigger family I could see it would be easy to go over so be prepared for paying some extra at the end. Either way the condo is an amazing price point & I highly recommended staying at this location! It was just my husband and I but I could see how this location would be ideal for families with all the amenities. We plan to come back in the future!

Good day, I am physician residing primarily in Denver, Colorado. After visiting Curacao I fell in love with the island. I am avid scuba diver and the culture of the island is just so attractive.

What I liked about Blue Bay is that first it is gated, although crime on the island is typical to most US cities, allows for a feeling of more security. The resort offers so much including golf, tennis, hiking, snorkeling, and scuba diving to name a few. The Shore apartments are a gated complex within the Blue Resort so parking is more secure and private. The complex also offers a private pool, steps away from the private entrance to the beach and all it has to offer.

Sitting on the balcony, cocktail in hand, looking viewing the ocean is pure bliss.

The Shore apartment complex is modern, new, and probably one of the best locations on the island. Pretty much 15 minutes from most desired destinations by car and the beach at your doorstep. It's VRBO at it's finest.
