With two bedrooms upstairs (king in primary bedroom with en suite bathroom and a guest room with a queen bed and separate bathroom) and a studio downstairs (king bed, sofa, private bath, private lanai, and kitchenette), this awesome property located in Hawaiian Beaches is perfect for families or groups of friends. Only two blocks from the ocean, you can hear the waves from a large lanai that overlooks the backyard with high palm trees and lush vegetation. An equipped kitchen with quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances makes meal prep a breeze. Enjoy the convenience of a washing machine and dryer, WiFi, BBQ grill, and a two car garage. Kickback, relax, listen to the ocean and enjoy everything the Big Island and our home has to offer. The town of Pahoa is 10 minutes down the road where there is a grocery store, restaurants and shopping. Hilo is 30 minutes and Volcano National Park is 45 minutes. Minimum 30 day stay required for booking.

I thought the home looked good on the VRBO site, and when I got there, found it even nicer than expected! It was so clean and was well equipped with everything one would need. It was so close to the ocean you can hear the waves from the house and walk to an ocean front park in practically no time. The owners left us a package of pecan coffee from Texas that I liked even better than the Kona coffee we bought! I would rate my stay as excellent and thought it a bargain at that price!

Aloha in our Hearts

We have left the island with Aloha in our hearts! If you need to relax and get away from the fast pace of life, then this is the place for you! This house met all of our family needs. The kitchen had more than enough supplies, the beds were comfy, and we especially loved the lanai living rooms! We were wanting to be away for the touristy zone and this place definitely met that requirement. We enjoyed our walks to the cliffs early in the morning and then again at sunset. We enjoyed the croaking of frogs all night long and the twittering of birds all day long. The check-in was very easy and Scott was always quick to answer any questions. We were there during the tsunami and we appreciate Scott making sure our family was safe. (All was fine but we did evacuate!) This home is comfortable and cozy. We would love to come and stay again! Thank you for being wonderful hosts!

This little guy lives in the yard with many of his friends.
