Wexford Hollow is one of our our Largest Lodges
. with 6 bedrooms, 3 baths Lodge, Large Swimming pool, Hot Tub, geothermal heating system, wood burning stove, walk out basement, Pool Table, covered porch, and a large yard. We are hoping to have a pool installed by suThe cabin is located just off the Great River Road between Harpers Ferry and Lansing Iowa. It is nestled in a valley overlooking Wexford Creek with great Trout Fishing and the famous Historic Wexford Catholic Church.
*3 Night min needed over summer weekends
*You will want to bring sheets, towels, & pillowcases

The place was very dirty, overpriced for the amount of things we had to bring ourselves (sheets & pillowcases for the beds) hot tub was nice until it turned green & had low water flow. I messaged the host and was responded to with “well if you would’ve told me earlier I could have had someone come fix it”.

My family & friends had a great time in this property. Everything went smoothly from check in to check out. Cory is a very considerate host. The location is quiet and serene; the cabin is beautiful & well maintained; the pool & hot tub are the best features especially at night where you can see the beautiful night sky full of stars! We are already planning to come back!

The property has potential, but unfortunately most of the features that attracted us to this property was unusable for nearly our entire stay. The pool was green upon arrival which the manager alerted us to, but it had not been drained upon our arrival. The maintenance team advised us they would be back on the same day of our arrival to clean the bottom of the pool once drained and a bit of water added. Upon day 2 the pool was filling and not cleaned. Messages were sent to the manager. The hot tub was dirty with sand in the bottom, bugs, and no chemicals thus also unusable. Day 3 another message to the manager. Later in the afternoon the pool and hot tub were cleaned. The last night both were in safe conditions but extremely cold. Cleaning staff entered the properties multiple times during our first evening of the stay with the last time bein 8:00 pm. They were entering to get linens we presume were for another property. We did need to clean the floors in the entry and kitchen as there was dirt, sand, and hair. The rugs on the deck leading to house were full of hair. The window behind the hot tub was shattered a taped. The pool area and fire pit were full of weeds. A few of us pulled many of the weeds from the area. The steps going from the deck are made of landscaping block and not set, so they wobble. It is dangerous when going down to get to the firepit/pool area. There were large piles of grass throughout the yard making the yard unusable without raking.

Beautiful location

Peaceful beautiful location. Big house with plenty of room for everyone. Floors and counters were a little dirty and the bathrooms looked like they could use some bleach. Wasn't happy some guy showed up to do something to the pool and when he left the filter wasn't running and the pool was filled with a ton of bees which we had to try and filter out so we could all swim. But overall a nice location.

There were 11 in our family group get together. They enjoyed the pool, hot tub, pool table and games we brought. It was nice to have so many bedrooms so the older singles didn’t have to share beds.The only thing to be aware of is if you have mobility issues you may be limited to the upper level and large front porch. I was the only one with the issue and yet I was able to make it slowly to the lower level and the pool deck, but not to the hot tub.The family enjoyed our time together and they would stay again.
