Rivage du lac Owasco en face du parc Emerson

Les clients sont sûrs de passer des vacances mémorables dans cette maison de ranch entièrement meublée de 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain sur la rive nord-ouest du lac Owasco.  La chambre principale a un lit king size et une salle de bain principale attenante. Les 2 autres chambres sont meublées avec des lits doubles. Un canapé-lit dans le salon peut accueillir 2 adultes ou 3 petits enfants supplémentaires. Une "maison pleine" peut accueillir 8 personnes confortablement. Le salon donne sur de grandes fenêtres pour une belle vue sur et en bas du lac. La cuisine est complète et est attachée à une salle à manger pouvant accueillir 8 personnes autour de la table. Si vous avez des enfants en bas âge, vous allez adorer cette extrémité d'Owasco - car vous pouvez vous promener dans l'eau sur un quart de mile et ne laisser le niveau de l'eau atteindre qu'un adulte. Il y a un foyer juste au bord du lac où vous pouvez vous asseoir et profiter d'une lune qui se lève. Il y a 6 marches dans l'eau depuis la pelouse avant. Quelques grands arbres ombragés ici également, ce qui rend ces chaudes journées d'été encore plus agréables après une journée complète sur le lac. La grande terrasse permet de faire un barbecue, de manger à l'extérieur ou simplement de se reposer dans une chaise confortable avec un bon livre. Nous incluons 2 kayaks, un canot pour deux personnes, un bateau de pêche en aluminium et un moteur, ainsi que des gilets de sauvetage. Si vous avez besoin d'emprunter un ou deux bâtons, ou une punaise, vous pouvez vous aider. Nous avons beaucoup de jeux et de puzzles pour ces jours de pluie "occasionnels".

Tous les locataires de retour dans les années consécutives recevront leur taux de l'année précédente, si les taux de l'année suivante ont été augmentés.

Le Camp Gramp est situé juste en face du parc Emerson. Vous pouvez marcher jusqu'au théâtre Merry-Go-Round. C'EST LE MEILLEUR endroit pour voir tout le lac, vous pouvez regarder le temps monter de l'extrémité sud en vous asseyant sur le pont. Vous entendrez les oies klaxonner alors qu'elles survolent et atterrissent sur le lac. Nous avons des pygargues à tête blanche et des balbuzards qui peuvent se montrer en arrachant un poisson des bas-fonds devant la maison sur l'eau. Nature, détente et loisirs sont au rendez-vous au Camp Gramp!

Serene and beautiful stay

We had a fun and relaxing stay at Camp Gramp. We enjoyed the kayaks, ladder ball, canoe and of course swimming and relaxing in the lake! The house is also very close to Auburn for food, coffee and museums. Mark was communicative and very helpful with checkin and checkout process. Highly recommend!

This was a lovely place, well supplied and good instructions

We really enjoyed the stay. The house was well set up and very enjoyable. We spent some time in the water, and my brother used a kayak. We used this as our home base, but as I used to live in the city, we were familiar with the area. We ate at Green Shutters, as my parents used to take us there, in the 50's. We also went to the other side of the lake and to Tom Thumb ice cream stand. We enjoyed a game of mini-golf there. We went to Auburn Bagel Company and that was very good. We met at Newhope Mills with others and had a great meal. And really enjoyed watching the activities on the lake. We also went to Skaneateles and went on the boat tour there.

What a view!

We enjoyed a wonderful family vacation/reunion at Camp Gramp in late August. The house was quite tidy and the deck overlooking Lake Owasco was wonderful. The house is a short walk to a waterside park and a quick drive to a number of fun things to do. The layout of the house gave all six of us enough privacy. We had a great time here.

Beautiful location

The lake house exceeded our expectations. It was in a beautiful setting, right on the lake. It was honestly the most well-equipped rental we have ever stayed in, and we have stayed in many. Our grandchildren loved the daily duck visits in the backyard, The fishing was great, we loved the kayaks too! So many nice features. We will definitely come back to Camp Gramps!

Relaxing stay on Owasco Lake!

Property was in a great location near Emerson Park. Convenient for walks and entertainment. Camp Gramps was very well maintained and had all the comforts of home. Easy process to rent and gain access on first day. Very quiet neighborhood except for July 3rd fireworks show which was awesome. Highly recommend this location.

Our stay was one of the best vacations we’ve had in long time. We are normally ocean vacation people but decided to try a lake this year. This house had everything we wanted! Perfect for families

We had a great time at this comfortable lakefront cottage! The house was super clean and had everything we could possibly need. The layout is convenient and it is larger than it looks in the pictures. The boats, water toys and fishing poles that were available for us to use were definitely a highlight! We enjoyed walking with the kids to the playgrounds and pier in nearby Emerson Park, and to the Green Shutter for ice cream. We would definitely come back!

Beautiful lake view from most rooms. Delightfully not hot near end August,'23. Home well furnished, everything u need. Swim/kayak. Nice walks on jetty in Emerson Park from the house, great hikes in Fillmore Glen St Park 25 min away by car.Learn/see Harriet Tubman history. Try see production at Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, excellent.The home owner Mark Bruland is great! and very easy to reach.

Lake Owasco Trip

The house was as labeled very accurately. Completely reminds me of my grandparents place from the 80’s. We only were in the house for meals and sleep. It worked out very well. The sand bar on the lake was awesome. We were on the lake every day jumping, floating, swimming, playing, etc. This was exactly what our family needed and we didn’t want the week to end. Thank you

Fantastic time at Camp Gramp

Had a wonderful stay. We didnt know what to expect as it was our first time to the area. We loved it! The place was super clean and had a well stocked kitchen. We loved where we were on the lake as we had young kids and it was at most 3 feet deep with sandy bottom. Took the boat out every morning and evening for fishing and fire pit every night. The kids loved fishing as they caught something everytime they went out. Loved the ducks and playing in the yard all day. Lots to do in the area, very convenient to Auburn and stores. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Camp Gramp far exceeded our expectations! Just as all the reviews promised, this place was absolutely outstanding.We visited with our extended family—six adults, two kids, and two dogs—and it was perfect for everyone. The master bedroom was huge, with plenty of space for the kids’ blow-up mattress, plus a private bathroom. The other two bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, sharing a well-appointed common bathroom. One room even had a VHS player with a treasure trove of classic movies—a total score!The owners have truly thought of everything. The garage was stocked with fishing gear, floats, and yard games (even ladder ball). We took full advantage of the motor boat, kayaks, and canoe every single day. The sunrises and sunsets over the lake were absolutely breathtaking.The lakefront setting is unbeatable—shallow, clean water that’s perfect for swimming, floating, or simply wading while chatting with family and friends. The location is also fantastic, within walking distance of a dog park, a larger walking trail, and piers you can stroll out onto.The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need—cups, dishes, utensils, baking dishes, a coffee maker (with filters and coffee), and more. We loved gathering for dinner each night at the dining room table, which fit all eight of us comfortably.Evenings were pure relaxation—either sitting by the fireplace listening to the waves or rocking on the back porch under the stars.We will absolutely be back!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Loved being right on the lake with great views. Kayaking, using the floats on the lake was great. Awesome fire pit! Ate s’mores by the fire. Green Shutters has a yummy cheeseburger and homemade onion rings.

Heaven

This was our second year at Gramps Camp and we already can't wait for next year. We love the peace and tranquility here. The ducks are so much fun and floating around in a tube and drinking in the beauty of nature is amazing. The Gramps Campsters were very helpful and available to us .Ty for sharing this little piece of heaven.

Grandpa & Grandma Lessig (a.k.a "Tuie & Les") had the opportunity to purchase the entire "end of the lake" in the 40's but "settled" for a simple, choice lot on the northwest end of Owasco Lake. For many years it was a simple 1-room, unfinished cabin where they would come down for weekends and vacations from their home in Auburn. Their only daughter Carol, and her husband Don (a.k.a. "Gramp") inherited it when they passed and then built their 1980s "retirement home" on the property where they stayed for many years. Carol & Don's two daughters used it for family vacations and get togethers. Now, the 4th generation of the original owners host the property here on VRBO when we our Family is not using it.

Spectacular sunrises, shallow, sandy bottomed and safe for young children! Close to town (Wegmans, Walmart, Walgreens, movie theaters, shopping, etc.). And some of the best and most productive pan fishing in the Finger Lakes Region. When you look up the state record sunfish and bluegill, you will be tempted to take your measuring tape out in the boat with you! One day, the state record will be caught right here in Owasco Lake's northwest end (just outside the bouys - hint hint)!

There is a raised deck with an amazing 270-degree view across the lake to Emerson Park and down the entire length of the lake to the south -- you can hear concert music from Emerson Park, and see the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, watch and hear The Great Race each August, or watch storms come up the lake (many which never seem to get all the way to the end of our lake). Barbecuing outside on the deck in the evening, coffee and muffins in the morning when you wake up, you'll pretty much "live outside on the deck" during your stay! There is a dog park and paddleboard rentals a block away on the shoreline. The antique car show at Emerson Park is a short walk up the street from our lake house! In the summer every Thursday night there are free concerts in the park with food and drink trucks or barbecue grills if you want to fix your own dinner.
