My family and I rented this for a week on a vacation. We were travelling with two young children, two parents, and grandma.
The area was very quiet, and is a great spot in Scottsdale, which is a pretty fancy area.
We did not use the pool, which is not heated, as it was March and not warm enough. Though, it looked good, and was well kept. The pool has a great fence around it, with a latching gate. The gate latch was high enough and the fence sturdy enough, we had absolutely no worries about letting our two and five year old girls play in the backyard with light supervision. Also, it was very easy to keep an eye on the kids in this house.
The master bedroom, 2nd bath, kitchen, and living room, all have a great view of the back yard and patio. That was great.
The house is well stocked with anything you might need in the kitchen. The laundry worked well, and there were paper products in the pantry. Likewise, there were enough towels and linens, which were clean.
The owner did communicate well, though I think he prefers the phone, and I prefer email. We had no issues booking, contracting, or getting keys/etc. on arrival. Everything was as advertised, and more really. The only matter worth mentioning is the water pressure, or lack thereof. The house is recently renovated, with a great kitchen, nice sinks and countertops (all stone), and nice shower heads. Just don't try to use any faucet in the house while taking a shower, as it can't be done. I don't know if that's common in the area or just this house, and it was very easy to work around. But I mean that literally, if you brush your teeth while someone else is showering, the sink being turned on will basically shut off the shower. We had a bit of fun seeing if it was one faucet, or all, and it's all. Apparently, there's just not much pressure to be had - so plan your dishwashing, laundry, and showering at separate times, and you'll be fine.
All in all, this house was great, well appointed, as advertised, and the property manager was easy to work with. We heartily recommend this property.
