Luxury Log Cabin Getaway – Pine View Retreat

Welcome to your home away from home! Nestled on a private acre in the heart of Brantingham, NY—between Old Forge and Tug Hill—this cozy log cabin is perfect for a weekend escape or a week-long adventure.

Inside, key highlights include the spacious great room and the brand-new game room featuring a PlayStation 5, ping pong, darts, air hockey, foosball, books, and a pop-a-shot basketball game—fun for all ages. Guests will also enjoy the 85-inch TV and home theater-style setup for movie nights. The full kitchen makes creating meals easy, and the stone gas fireplace in the great room adds a warm, relaxing vibe.

This retreat sleeps up to 8 comfortably with two bedrooms: a queen bed in the loft, a twin-over-queen bunk in the second bedroom, and in the great room there is a full futon and a queen Murphy-style bed in the console. Two full bathrooms with walk-in showers add extra convenience.

Step outside to the spacious paver patio with a 20’ x 12’ wood pergola, perfect for dining, relaxing, or gathering around the fire pit under the stars. The large, wooded backyard offers a peaceful setting for nature lovers and plenty of space to unwind.

High-speed Wi-Fi and streaming services keep everyone connected. Located just a half-mile from Brantingham Lake and one mile from the golf course, this home also sits directly on ATV, snowmobile, and equestrian trails—with rentals and service stations nearby. Wow!! I mean Wow!! This house was huge and beautiful. The separate large garage which was the game room was a child hit. My kids didn’t leave that area and they had a blast. Resturants, store, lake, motocross track (high voltage hills mx) was walking distance or within 2 miles away. Can’t wait to rent this house again.
The kids hanging with Former Factory mx rider Tim Ferry and he was showing them some scenes of “Outter Banks” which he was one of the trainers to help train the dirt bike scenes.

10/10 me and my family felt like we were dreaming! Jane and Bill were so kind to let us in early, communicating with them felt like communicating with my family and friends! The place is absolutely gorgeous, my 2 year old broke a candle and I left a note that I apologized and to charge me whatever they would like and they said not to worry about it! The place had everything you needed, obviously the game room was a hit with the kids and the blue tooth speaker in the house to put on oldies music was loud enough in the entire house for you to be able to hear it in any room! As we like to have some drinks, it’s nice to enjoy it there with family and not have to worry about leaving!

Bill brings over 30 years of leadership and entrepreneurial experience, most notably as a top executive at Sysco. After retiring from the corporate world, he shifted gears and followed his passion for small business, co-owning successful ventures such as Pirates Hide Out in Waterford, where families come to enjoy homemade ice cream and mini golf, along with several real estate and entertainment businesses.

Jane has a background in business and finance, and she is the heartbeat behind the scenes, keeping everything running smoothly. She focuses on the details, guest satisfaction, and making sure every stay is just right. Her warmth and organization are reflected in every part of their ventures.

Together, they have built a life around service, quality, and good old-fashioned hospitality. Now they are bringing that same energy to Pine View Retreat, and they look forward to welcoming you.
