Hill Country Retreat is a welcoming two-story, Texas-themed, country home on top of the tallest mountain in Concan. One acre property with 180 degree views and large patios for star gazing and sunsets.

Enjoy nature and tube the Frio in the spring and summer and hike Garner and Lost Maples in the fall and winter.

Three bedrooms with two separate bathrooms are located up a flight of stairs. Each room has amazing views of the skies and canyons.

The Frio River is a drive away at the base of the mountain, minutes away from restaurants and tubing outfitters by car. Call outfitters ahead of time to check the river flow. Reserve tickets for swimming the Frio ahead of time.

The drive up the mountain is steep and one lane. Please drive slowly and make room to oncoming vehicles. We have a driveway large enough for several cars. Please note our driveway is on an incline and using the parking brake is encouraged.

✔ We are a no-pet, no smoking, no parties vacation home for responsible adults and children. We love our neighbors and want to be respectful of their peace and quiet.
✔ The summertime is the busiest season in Concan for tubing the Frio.
✔ Spring, fall and winter are great for hiking Garner & Lost Maples
✔ The Milky Way can be enjoyed on a clear night from March through November
✔ Wildlife and bird watching year-round.
