Drunk individuals, people with open wounds, skin diseases, infectious diseases, or epilepsy are not allowed to use the sauna. Children and adolescents under the age of 16 may only use the sauna when accompanied by an adult.
**Before using the sauna:**
- Shower and dry off!
- The floor has an electric infrared heater. Entering the sauna wet is dangerous!
- No sweat on the wood! Always use a sufficiently large and dry seat towel in the cabin.
- Cool off after using the sauna by taking a shower.
- Do not eat or drink in the sauna or infrared cabin.
- Take adequate breaks between sauna sessions. Do not overstrain your circulation!
**Keep the sauna, infrared cabin, and relaxation area clean:**
- Sauna and infrared cabin are cleaned and disinfected by our cleaning staff after each stay. However, guests are responsible for cleaning during their stay.
**Important Information:**
- The facility is not supervised.
- Follow the operating instructions for the sauna and infrared cabin. Contact the host if you have any questions or issues.
**Guidelines for Use:**
- **Maximum Recommended Time:** 15-20 minutes. If you feel faint or dizzy, leave the sauna immediately.
- **Proper Attire:** Bathing suits are required at all times.
- **Towels:** Always place a towel on the bench where you are sitting or lying.
**To Operate the Sauna:**
1. Press **ON/OFF** on the control pad. The red indicator light next to ON/OFF will illuminate when the sauna is on.
2. Press **TEMP** and use the UP/DOWN arrows to set the desired temperature (recommended: 120-180°F).
3. The sauna takes approximately 15 minutes to heat up fully.
**POOL RULES & OPERATION**
**To Heat the Pool:**
- Turn the timer by the pool stairs to the full 4 hours and press the **START** button on the pump control panel next to the timer.
- This is not a hot tub; the water will not be hot. The maximum temperature is 78°F.
- This is a relaxation plunge pool. Allow 3-4 hours for the water to fully heat.
**Pool Rules:**
- **No Lifeguard On Duty** â Swim at your own risk.
- **NO DIVING.**
- Non-swimmers and children under 13 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
- Glass containers are prohibited.
- Do not swim alone.
- Persons with communicable diseases are not allowed to use the pool.
- Shower before entering the pool.
- Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not allowed to use the pool.
- No running or horseplay.
**COLD PLUNGE RULES**
- It is recommended to consult a physician before beginning your cold plunge therapy regimen.
- After or during filling your plunge, you can use the ice from the ice machine next to the plunge.
- Do not leave children unsupervised around the tub. Extreme caution must be exercised to prevent unauthorized access by children.
- Pets should be kept away from the tub to avoid damage and injury.
- Never operate any electrical appliance while in the tub or when your body is wet. Do not place any electrical appliances, such as lights, telephones, radios, or televisions, within 5 feet (1.5 m) of the tub.
- The use of alcohol, drugs, or medication before or during the cold plunge may lead to loss of consciousness and increase the risk of drowning.
- Persons with a history of heart disease, low or high blood pressure, circulatory system problems, or diabetes should consult a physician before using a cold plunge tub.
- Persons taking medication should consult a physician before using the tub, as some medications may induce drowsiness, while others may affect heart rate, blood pressure, or circulation.
- Prolonged immersion in water below 70°F (21°C) can pose a risk of hypothermia. Note that core body temperature may continue to drop even after exiting the cold plunge tub.
- Do not operate tools, heavy machinery, or attempt to drive immediately after completing a cold plunge.
- Always enter the cold plunge tub feet first and breathe continuously in a steady, structured rhythm. Do not hyperventilate or hold your breath while immersed in the tub.
- Exit the tub immediately if you feel weakness, exhaustion, or are unable to control your fingers, hands, arms, or legs.
