Family stayed Friday and Saturday nights. The place was warm and inviting and so welcoming after a long drive. This home is extremely nice and bigger than we thought. I wish we had more time to enjoy it. We would definitely book a longer stay in the future.

The location was amazing!! Emerald Isles was very clean and welcoming upon arrival. All the essentials for cooking/grilling were included. Parking is available on site. Communication with the property manager was continuous and very easy from the start of booking thoughout the stay. Located less than a 10 min and very simple drive from many restaurants and grocery stores. Also a very short drive to multiple beaches and Redwoods National Forest. The sunrises from the back balcony were fantastic and the sunsets were so beautiful! They can be watched from a coastal overlook which is a block and a half away. Very simple walk. You can see Battery Point Lighthouse from the back balcony. The pictures in the listing don't do this property justice! The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. Everyone we talked to was very nice. I have this place saved and my wife and I will be returning and booking this rental as it was above and beyond our expectations for "just a place to stay" while visiting the redwoods and Cresent City. You will not have any regrets staying here!!

Beautiful house in a great location with a view of the ocean! Very clean! The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of linens and a well-stocked kitchen! There was a park for kids to play across the street and stair access to the beach a block or two away, all within a peaceful neighborhood where we enjoyed our morning walks. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend this house to our friends and family

We had a fantastic stay! The rental was spacious and quite clean. The entrance was the only funky part. It was a bit odd to come in the main door and see stairs going down to locked doors and stairs going up to our area. The downstairs tenant does not come in that entrance, so it ended up being just fine. There were multiple views of the ocean and you could see the active lighthouse. Very cool! We would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay, just 5 minute walk from the beach. There is a neighborhood playground across the street that is fun for children. The upstairs (where unit is located) is very spacious! It is so wide open and is bigger than it looks! This is a light filled space with a large kitchen and everything you could hope for. ( One small thing if you’re cooking spaghetti there is no large pot) however there is a new blender, a crockpot and lots of kitchen utensils. There are no seasonings to speak of but there is salt and pepper. A very nice grill is on the deck.There is a new blow dryer in the master bath and the bathrooms were SO clean. The kitchen table is older but has a table cloth and sits a large group. Whoever put this unit together put lots of thoughtful touches. The basement has a separate unit but we had no problem and never heard anyone. We had an amazing time!

Good view of ocean. Someone was living downstairs which we were not told prior to renting. We didn’t find out until we were there. Very disturbing! Many things needed repair, light fixtures, master towel bar, sink did not drain well, gas fireplace did not work.

More steps than I anticipated to get into the house. Only one tv in the living room. We had quick response to questions. Very enjoyable
