Come and relax by the fire on the edge of the Redwood National Forest just minutes from the beach! You'll fall in love with our luxuriously appointed contemporary retreat. This not-so-tiny custom prefab is surrounded by giant Redwoods, ivy and ferns in a historic scenic location. Loaded with natural light, leather, hardwoods, granite and art, this coastal home tucked into the forest boasts two bedrooms and a sleeping loft as well as a hot tub and fireplace for those cooler romantic nights.

My husband and I stayed here with our son during a sports tournament weekend and really enjoyed the space. For a tiny home, it felt surprisingly roomy, thoughtfully decorated, and private. Communication with the host was prompt and generous. We appreciated the guest instructions binder, which covered everything we needed for the weekend. The only thing keeping this from being a full 5‑star stay was that the linens and toiletries, while serviceable, felt more budget‑level than the price would suggest. Overall, though, it was a great home base between games. This place is comfortable, incredibly quiet, and conveniently located. We WOULD recommend it to others.

This was a great place to stay. It's close to the Redwoods, which is why we were there. Also close to Crescent City, but also out and private. It was clean and Lola was very responsive to any questions we had. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful home in an amazing location! The house itself is so cute and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and other thoughtful amenities like games, puzzles, a cd player and cute back porch with a fire pit and hot tub. The location can not be beat, just a stones throw from Jedidiah Smith State Park and some of the best redwood hikes available anywhere. We would definitely stay here again and wish we stayed longer this visit!

Amazing stay- we would definitely stay here again. We are a family of 5 and this spot was perfect for us. Very comfortable beds and a great selection of pillows. There was enough to do to keep the all of us happy. There is a tire swing tucked away in the back yard, and we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit as well. There are some puzzles and games tucked away in one of the bedrooms. And there are also blinds on all of the windows (an update/upgrade based on previous reviews). And some reviewers mentioned that there are some neighbors nearby, which is true
 but this is a very secluded spot and you cannot see or hear any of the neighbors due to the dense forest. It’s a gorgeous spot and perfect location for exploring the redwoods.

This was probably the cleanest and best equipped VRBO we have ever stayed in. Our daughter loved sleeping up in the loft and the house felt secluded even though it was close to everything. Added bonuses were the washer and dryer and the hot tub.

Great property for exploring the redwoods -- convenient to the parks and the perfect size and layout for our family of four. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit, had everything we needed in the well-stocked kitchen, and slept well in the comfortable beds. Overall a great stay!

Perfect little place to place to stay on the edge of the Redwoods and close to Crescent City. Super clean and had everything you would need. Back patio amenities were great after exploring the Redwoods all day. Would definitely recommend!

Well appointed, spacious and clean. Easy drive to state and national parks. Beautiful wooded backyard with deck, fire pit and hot tub I booked through Expedia. Make sure you also have a VRBO app or account if you book through Expedia. That is how the property manager communicates check in procedure. She communicates check in info well in advance but through VRBO. Didn’t have the app or VRBO account so I had to contact VRBO customer service to get access instructions. Once that was sorted out, it was a beautiful stay.
