What an awesome log cabin! We had a fantastic time with two families, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kids had endless space to run around and lots of activities to keep them entertained. It’s also in a great location, just a short drive from Charlevoix, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer.

This home was amazing! It was the perfect place for our entire family to stay for our daughter's wedding. We were very comfortable in the space...inside and out! Every attention to detail was met and it was even better than we anticipated! Mandy was excellent with communication, and very helpful. I would highly recommend this property for a large family getaway!

Amazing house in a great location close enough to the action but far enough away from town to have your own secluded getaway. Communication with hosts was great and any request we had was addressed quickly. Would recommend for anyone wanting to see the beauty of Charlevoix as well as be within driving distance for day trips to Mackinac Island and the Sleeping Bear Dunes but want to avoid heavy tourist areas. Awesome vacation!

The property was exactly as described and a wonderful place to have 14 guests. Lots to do in the area and very well-equipped with entertainment at the house. Mandy is a very responsive and courteous host.

Excellent location and house! Easily located between Charlevoix and Petoskey. We used the house as a retreat, and it had copious amounts of bedrooms to sleep everyone comfortably. The common areas are decently large, too, for group activities and discussions. Will book again in the future!

Great chalet for a family group!

We enjoyed our stay at the chalet! It provided a wonderful arrangement for our friends, their five boys, and my wife and me. The log home set-up is great for a get-away, with the large, open spaces, huge porches (seems endless) and great details with the bedding, towels and such.

Amazing Northern Michigan Retreat

We stayed at Mandy & Chris's house over the 4th of July with our two kids, and a few other couples. The house was perfect for our group - from being pet friendly, to already being set up with some extra gear for the little ones. The house is 7 minutes outside of downtown Charlevoix in a great location, and has an amazing outdoor porch that protects from any bugs in the evenings. Mandy & Chris were incredibly communicative throughout the whole process and made everything a breeze. We loved our stay, and will absolutely look to stay again the next time we are up north!

Amazing place to stay. Mandy and Chris were EXCEPTIONAL hosts! We have stayed in a number of VRBOs and this took the cake! Quick responses, eager to meet any needs, checking in half way to make sure we were ok, kind. A WELL stocked home with all the things one might need. We mentioned to Mandy a few things we thought would make things even better, but nothing that would make or break the trip. She asked for those suggestions as she and Chris want to improve as they are able along the way. The wrap around porch was awesome! Contained both kids and dogs. Completely screened in, so bugs were not an issue! lots of space. Two full fridges in main living area, 3 if you add the apartment above the garage. Kitchen had all you needed! They even supplied a tray of fun foods and snacks as well as hot cocoa and coffee (ground and pods). Great beds and clean, comfortable sheets. extra striped towels for the hot tub users. Firepit is beautiful. They just updated much of the landscape. We enjoyed that several nights. They even put out sticks for smores. Many lovely touches that said "we are glad you are here!" Thank you Mandy and Chris. If it works out again for us all to come again, we will!!

Amazingly Cozy Cabin, Fully-Stocked!!

This cabin was gorgeous and spacious – very true to the photos (if not even better in person). Check-in was a breeze. The kitchen was so well stocked, we were able to cook quite a bit on the trip. We had to message about one question and Chris and Mandy were amazing hosts – super personable and responsive! Our 8-year-old was obsessed with the bunk beds and declared this the best cabin he’s stayed in – there were a ton of games and activities upstairs for kiddos. Some of our favorite times were the peaceful mornings amongst the birdsong on the porch with coffee from the adorable coffee bar. When it rained, we could still sit on the screened porch and do some grilling or sit around the fireplace, which was beautiful. It exceeded our expectation of cozy – we felt very much at home.All in all, this cabin was super clean, comfortable, fully-stocked and minutes from the lake and activities in Charlevoix – we can’t wait to stay again!

This was our second time visiting. It was great! Amanda and Chris are very responsive to messages and quickly try to address any issues that we encounter. The house has copious bedrooms and an excellent deck and outdoor space for visiting. Highly recommend!
