Great place and in a great area. Walking distance to great restaurants. Sabino Canyon is just up the road. The house had everything and is in a quiet neighborhood. I would have stayed longer if I could.

Perfect Tucson - Catalina Foothills Retreat

We just had a delightful stay at this Tucson - Catalina Foothills Townhouse. Owner, Syd was wonderful to work with and was always available if any questions should arise. The Townhouse is perfectly located, close to hiking, shopping and restaurants, and was nicely furnished and fully equipped with all the necessities for a comfortable stay. Should we return to Tucson, we would definitely stay at this location again, if available.

Location, views and amenities

In Tucson for cycling & to enjoy the sunshine ~ away from the Iowa winter. Strada De Rubino became a family neighborhood for us. Location was perfect. The house supplied exactly how we would set it up and the million dollar views we enjoyed every evening on the beautiful patio. We loved it so much we extended our stay and now have plans to purchase somewhere close by in the fall of 2013. We will be back to enjoy a glass of wine with Syd. Exceeded Our Expectations

This is a beautiful townhouse in a gorgeous neighborhood with fantastic views from the patio: the mountains during the day and the stars at night. It is close to shopping and restaurants; even better, it is a short drive to Mt. Lemmon, Sabino Canyon, and Saguaro Nat’l Park (East). Syd is an excellent host. He is very responsive to any communications, and you will be wowed by how well-furnished, well-organized, and well-furnished his townhouse is. It is obvious Syd put a lot of thought, time and effort into ensuring that your stay is comfortable and that you have everything you need.

Great townhouse with gorgeous views

Very nice 2 bedroom townhouse. Location is near Sabino Canyon and other hiking. The townhouse was very clean and well supplied. I enjoyed coffee on the large patio every morning with great views of the Catalina Mountains. Syd was easy to work with, provided all the details you need and also very responsive to questions. The townhouse community was very quiet , well maintained and great amenities. I hope to be back again!

Very nice townhouse in quiet neighborhood

The townhouse met all our expectations. It is well equipped clean and has plenty of morning and afternoon sun on the patio. The view is very nice from the patio. The owner is extremely organized and quick to respond to any questions. Everything is explained very well and easy to locate. We have rented many VRBOs and this was by far the the most well run property. We had a great time and really felt at home.

A real gem

This is our fifth rental through VRBO since February. All have been great, but Syd's property is clearly the best in all respects. He is easy to work with. The place was in immaculate shape when we got here and is easy to maintain. The location is terrific with great views and nature right outside. Despite 100+ temperatures, we can eat dinner outside and do not need AC at night. This would be my absolute top choice for a rental in Tucson.

Great landlord

Best equipped , clean, fantastic views. We had to leave early due to health. Syd, on his own,offered refund of rent, of unused time. Quiet area, comm. pool very clean and 1/2 block away. We have rented this area a long time. "the best" experience we have had renting. Irv and Darlene V.

Great Rental

We enjoyed our stay very much. Syd was very prompt to answer questions, etc. The property was as described in the listing. The neighborhood is very quiet and also very convenient to everything we needed during our stay.

Wonderful townhouse in a beautiful location.

We loved staying here! Great location, beautiful Catalina views from the patio and so quiet. The townhouse itself is lovely with quality furnishings and the kitchen is a cook’s delight! From a garlic press to a lemon juicer the kitchen had everything we needed. Even a crockpot for one of my husband’s crockpot concoctions. We saw a bobcat in the wash behind the patio twice! We really felt at home here and greatly appreciated all the paper supplies and cleaning products that were here when we moved in. We were happy to replace them as we used them but it sure made moving in day much easier! Thank you for a wonderful winter. Now back to winter in Minnesota! Jill and Tom

I grew up in Pennsylvania and was educated on the east coast. I moved to Portland, Oregon over 30 years and raised my family in Portland. I'm still a Portland resident, but bought vacation property in Tucson because the 300 days of sunshine are very attractive after the long, gray Oregon winters.

This property is in the Catalina Mountain foothills but convenient to urban amenities of Tucson. It is located in a quiet community within walking distance of a plaza that contains shops, exercise facility, restaurants and coffee shops. The town home was recently remodeled to update the kitchen and the baths, and to create a spacious but comfortable feel to the kitchen/living/dining room. This complements the town home's basic qualities that include a good view of the Catalina foothills from a semi-private patio, a large 2-car garage, and 1-minute walk to the community spa, pool and tennis court.

This one-story townhome itself has great features, is close to many outdoor recreation activities, and very convenient to shops and restaurants.
