Home Sweet Vacation!

Venez profiter de notre grande maison de ville de 3 étages à Harbordale, charmante et pratique de Fort Lauderdale. Vous apprécierez votre propre maison de ville luxueuse et privée avec une belle terrasse au troisième étage. Vous serez proche de 17th Street Causeway offrant des vues de classe mondiale sur les cours d'eau intracoastal de Fort Lauderdale. Ubers n'est jamais loin et vous ne pouvez pas vous rapprocher de l'aéroport et du port de croisière.

Maison mitoyenne de 3 étages avec 3 ½ salles de bains. Mieux vaut payer pour 3 chambres d'hôtel! Chaque belle chambre a sa propre salle de bain privée. Téléviseurs à écran plat et Wifi dans chaque chambre. Entièrement stocké avec des serviettes de plage, des jeux de société et même des vélos de croisière de plage pour garder toute la famille amusée!

Des sèche-cheveux à des brosses à dents supplémentaires, nous vous avons couvert. Mise en place avec tout le confort d'un hôtel, puis d'autres! Restez pour un jour ou séjournez pendant un mois. Notre maison est votre maison.

Premier étage: 1 garage, salon, salle à manger, cuisine entièrement équipée, ½ salle de bains, poste de travail avec ordinateur et imprimante, petit patio entièrement clôturé avec gazon et barbecue extérieur.

Deuxième étage: chambre à coucher principale avec lit king size, salle de bain principale avec baignoire et douche à l'italienne, chambre d'amis avec lit king size (peut être séparée en deux jumeaux), salle de bain avec douche / baignoire.

The code that was emailed did not work when we arrived at the house. Had to wait for host to unlock house. Went to dinner and code still did not work. Had to reach out again to get new code to get into house. House needs several repairs and a good deep cleaning.

This cozy townhome was beautiful

My stay was amazing house was beautiful and furnished well. Big size rooms I will recommend this place for a nice getaway vacation and also can be used as a game night. Fun time. Parking was not too bad down the street not too far was a open lot where you can park and it will be safe to park.

Cruise and airport friendly

I was so pleased to have a 5 min drive from the airport and a 5 min drive to the cruise Terminal. It’s also very convenient to the local bars and restaurants. Communication was very easy and check in was straightforward. I loved that every bedroom had its own bathroom. Getting ready the next morning was a breeze!

Quick Stay

This is a great place for a big family or couples. Each room had its own bathroom. The location was close to the ocean and restaurants. Parking was hard for 3 cars, but it is a condo so.. This was a quick stay, the worst would be water pressure was very low when showering. Amenities bring your own iron if you can. Otherwise it was a great place for an overnight stay.

Hi Aurora, thanks for your review and for letting everyone know that it's a great place for a big family or couples! We do have four large beds for people to sleep in. I also want to point out that we do have an iron for folks to use. We wish you would have reached out regarding the iron if you couldn't find it. Also, this is the first time anyone has complained of water pressure. Since we used to live in the house before renting it, we never had those issues ourselves. We are certainly going to stop by and check the water pressure though. Thank you for letting us know!

Great location - Needs attention

This home is in a great location and accommodated our party perfectly. However, this home needs attention. The outside areas (front, balcony, backyard) look nothing like the pictures. Also, the interior needs cleaning especially, the baseboards, carpet on stairs and bar stools/dining seating.

Great location from Convention Center!

Great location from Convention Center! Nice little park right out the front door. Good unit for the price. Could use though cleaning, and a little TLC. Looks like it’s time as a VRBO has been a little rough. (Lots of missing towel bars, toilet paper holders, Etc. People are rough on things.) Overall great layout and plenty of space for 4 guys in town for a conference. Thanks!

Jazz in the Garden

We booked for our event good location to get to and from our event. The property needs major deep cleaning baseboards, carpet and floors very dirty. Bathrooms need deep cleaning, faucet on second level not working, tub on second level both bathroom repairs. Patio area needs cleaning and new furniture. Over all my guests was very disappointed for the price we paid for our stay.

Our group stayed in this property for 1 night. It was fine for that short stay, but any longer would have been unpleasant. Our general feeling is that the pictures don't accurately portray the overall condition of the property. The home is showing a lot of wear, like broken blinds on the front door, patio door tough to open and similar little annoyances. To sum up, a fresh coat of paint and other attention is required. Also, there were no amenities that other VRBO property owners typically provide, such as a starter quantity of things like coffee, salt, pepper, etc.

convenient to the cruise departures

six of my family were heading out on a saturday for a cruise departing from fort lauderdale and we came in Friday to be on the safe side. This property turned out to be just what we needed. My older daughter and her partner had a bedroom to themselves with a king bed, my younger daugher and her cousin shared a king bed in another bedroom and my adult son and shared the top floor with separate king beds. Not really much in walking distance but very convenient to get to the cruise and short uber rides to plenty of dinner places. Thermostat was an issue and we froze for a while until i emailed the owner who turned the temp back up. Supposedly the thermostat is not locked but none of us could turn the knob so that was an issue. Property is across from a nice park with a play area for young children. top floor has a balcony where we had beers and watched the sunset. the outdoor furniture was a bit worn and the upstairs patio could use a coat of paint but still nice view. Way better than three separate hotel rooms.

The parking situation was not clear as far as what size vehicles would best fit. We were told there was parking for 2, however it would’ve been better if we were told that the parking space was for small compact cars and NOT SUVs. One of the beds on the 3rd floor had the wood pallets already fallen off. The kicker is that we didn’t know the pallets weren’t secured until my nephew sat on the bed and fell through. So we had to fix it each time he wanted to lay in it. The bed in the “master” bedroom on the 2nd floor was lopsided which resulted in severe back pain. There was only one towel per guest, no wash rags. The drawers in one of the bathrooms were half secured. The vents were all closed so we had to open them. The blinds didn’t work to open them up. There were no napkins/paper towels. We were not given check out instructions. We contacted the owners around 12pm the day of check in and never got a response back. We tried to contact them again when we arrived to confirm the parking situation with no response. Here we are more then 48 hours later and still never got. A response from them. The one good thing was that it was close to where we needed to be.

Good space and size, needs better maintenance

The size and space in the house is great. Location is great for conferences and pre/post cruise as close to conference center and port. Home needs minor repairs (scuffed walls, missing tiles, broken furniture) and better maintenance.

Great location

Easy check in, walking distance to shops and restaurants and just a short ride to the beach. Hosts were extremely nice and got over to replace a couple of bulbs within hours. Affordable and great fit for our long weekend getaway.

Mixed Reviews

Good and bad here: The good is the owners are very friendly and they try to help, and the location is very convenient to shopping and good local restaurants, The BAD is the pictures do not give a true representation of the property. It is worn and dated, and the neighborhood is sketchy at best. Sadly, I could not recommend staying at this location.

Thank you Ken for your review. You mentioned that the townhouse is convenient to shopping and good local restaurants. To take that further, the townhouse is walkable to a Whole Foods and a Publix. Plus, every good restaurant in Fort Lauderdale is either walkable or a really short drive away. It's really the perfect spot for cruisers, vacationers, and those going to the convention center to name just a few. You said the house was worn and dated. We paint often and have painted since your review. It's worth noting however that it is very hard to keep the walls skuff free because folks constantly rub their bags against the wall. We have since painted with skuff blocking paint and it is holding up much better! As for the neighborhood, it's a great neighborhood. It is two blocks from the high end grocery stores, one block from an LA Fitness (walkable), and close to so much more. Just like any downtown area, you get a mix of folks passing through, but overall it is a great neighborhood with new construction and more high-end townhouses being constructed!

Did not meet my expectations

The positives were that this rental was very spacious, the owners’ service was exceptional, and this home even came with a pack and play for babies. There were some maintenance related things that were not as advertised and there were some safety and privacy issues as well. There should be coverings for the shower areas that stop water from getting onto the floors and there should be window coverage in the bathrooms to prevent people from looking inside the home. The dryer is also very loud and squeaky so if you use it try to make sure that you do not use it towards the end of the night. Overall, this property has great potential and it is in a prime location; it just needs some upkeep, touching up and cleaning up.

Hi Rachel, we are disappointed the house did not meet your expectations. However, your biggest complaint is the shower area. This was the design of the shower and it's very unique. Since we used to live in the house, we loved the open shower concept that the builder put in. We are always touching the house up and painted the house shortly after your stay.
