Relaxing Stay in downtown Blue Ridge

We had a nice, relaxing stay in the Boxcar suite. The suite is within walking distance of everything downtown Blue Ridge has to offer. We enjoyed being downtown after the crowds had left. The Boxcar was very clean and had everything we needed. Check-in and check-out were hassle-free.

Perfect for One Night in Town

I needed one night in town, and this was hands down better than a hotel. I'd stay here again when in town for a quick trip. Great location across from the train and a short walk to great restaurants.

Very convenient to planned activities. Did not like the Coffee Pot in the bathroom.No instructions , for TV ; that was too big to allow Coffee Pot to sit by microwave.Just suggestions for thought !! WE LOVED OUR STAY !!

Great place that is close to the train, shops and restaurants.

The Boxcar suite was really nice. We enjoyed our stay. The weather was a quite cold and breezy. I was wishing I had a nice soak in a tub but the room only had a shower. We enjoyed our stay though.

Very clean room. Enjoyed being close to town. Would have preferred assigned parking as the 3 marked spots were always taken and the free parking on the street was always full due to the restaurant. I would suggest mounting the tv on the wall and placing the frig on the built it.

Everything was just as we expected it would be in every way. We chose this place based on the pictures descriptions and reviews. Our stay was just for a night as we were just passing through to Atlanta to see if Blue Ridge warranted a longer stay at some future time. It did not disappoint.

Nice and Clean. Walk to Downtown-

The room was hot. No individual thermostat for each room. It is out in the hall. We went in June, so it was hot. We did call and the management gave us a number to unlock the storage room to get the key for the thermostat but it didn't work. Had to wait until the next morning when the maid came to set temperature lower. There is a ceiling fan and fan in the closet. Still was not as cool as we wanted. Only 1 chair- no small table (for food in your room)- no facial tissue (bring your own) only toilet tissue. Very small trash cans. Bring a trash bag if you bring food to your room. Parking could be an issue if it was during the peak season. All in all, very nice and clean room. Great location. With a few adjustments it would be great.
