Welcome to Southern Charm Inn! Our prime downtown location means you're just a few minutes' walk from the best dining, shopping, and attractions that Blue Ridge has to offer. Everything you need is right at your fingertips. We look forward to hosting you!

Guests are required to sign Cherokee Rose Homes Rental Contract and authorize a $250 security deposit prior to their reservation.

This space has been prepared for guests traveling from out of town!
We love to host guests from out of town who have previously stayed in short-term rentals and earned favorable reviews.

While we appreciate the interest in staying with our property, please note that we do not cater to guests who live in the area and are looking for an alternate venue for their affairs or events and reserve the right to turn these guests away.

Guests give permission to the property manager to use a third-party to screen their identity and check criminal databases to confirm their reservation. Complete terms regarding the guest screening can be provided by the property manager. You may receive an email to complete your screening. Please check your spam inbox for this email and contact the property manager if you have any questions. Guests are required to complete the guest screening booking requirement, to avoid cancellation of the reservation.

We loved the very large and beautiful penthouse.

Our penthouse was huge, spotless, and beautifully decorated. The deck, with lounge chairs and pillows, was so comfortable. The location was perfect for shopping the downtown shops. We definitely would love to stay here again!

Beautiful and a perfect location

This property is beautifully decorated - we especially enjoyed the Christmas decorations! And it’s in a perfect spot to be able to enjoy Blue Ridge and the surrounding area. We will definitely be back!

Our stay was amazing!

The size of the room was unbelievable! Nice decor. Loved the private porch. Location could not have been better as far as easy walking access to all restaurants and shops. The Christmas tree in the living room was a nice touch. I do give our experience a 5 star.. Hoping to come back with our daughters next thanksgiving and maybe rent out the entire floor.

It was beautifully set up kitchen had everything you wanted. Only thing was we had to go up 3 flights of stairs with all of our luggage was very difficult.other than it was beautiful

Penthouse was Great!

We did a four women's Christmas getaway and stayed in the Penthouse. It was perfect. Huge living room and kitchen. The bedroom was great and two baths was nice. It had a Christmas tree and garland on the mantel. Location is just across the street from the train and it and all of main street are decorated in lights. We would definitely stay again.

An amazing place! Beautiful and the location can't be beat. We enjoyed the outdoor deck each afternoon before heading out to one of the many restaurants in walking distance. Highly recommend!

Great place (huge!) overlooking the train and downtown. Perfect location for walking around and exploring the many shops and restaurants. Really appreciated the washers and dryers since we were halfway through a three week trip.Strange layout (both beds are in one room; both bathrooms are off of the one bedroom), but worked perfect for my husband and I. We enjoyed the balcony as well.

This is a lovely spacious suite which provides everything you need for a great stay. The beds are in the same room so you need to like who you travel with! The private covered porch is a wonderful place to sit and watch the people and dogs go by, not to mention the train come and go. The location is exceptional with easy access to everything downtown. We parked the car and didn’t move it until we left.

Perfect little getaway!

Picture perfect! Clean and smack dab in the middle of downtown Blue Ridge! Great patio overlooking the city and huge living area and kitchen! We used to book at Hampton, but this will be our new lodging when taking a weekend getaway to the mountains! Thank you!

Absolutely beautiful condo and location. We loved the porch overlooking the train and city. So easy to walk to everything. I rated it lower because when we arrived there was no parking in the spaces provided. We had to pay for parking and move our car before 3AM. The elevator wasn’t working and weren’t notified of that. Otherwise it was a fabulous time away!!

Great location

Pros: The Trackside Penthouse is conveniently located in Blue Ridge. All shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Even though the train is across the street, the noise level is very low. Be prepared to climb stairs as the elevator was not accessible. Cons: Parking spots are narrow. There was a bathroom sink leak that we reported within 5 hours of checking in that was not fixed during our 4 night stay.

Southern Charm “Trackside Penthouse” located above Southern Charm Restaurant (our favorite), and owned?/managed by Cherokee Rose Homes is your 5 Star stay in Blue Ridge. Located across the street/tracks from the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway with all shops, restaurants, etc. in very easy walking distance. Exceptionally spacious, clean, and quiet despite being on top of a busy restaurant. Some music plays outside restaurant but shuts off at 8:00 PM when it closes. You never hear another sound from them. Property overall is amazingly quiet. Private deck overlooking the train and people watching walking on the streets. Morning coffee and reading here is a treat. Free parking, full kitchen with everything we needed. Two spacious bathrooms, one with a shower, the other with a large soaking tub. Wife loved the sit down vanity. There is a Keurig and regular coffee maker. Too many other amenities to mention. They are well described in the information. The elevator is not functional for private guests and there are some moderate steps to climb with your luggage although the passage is wide with excellent handrails. I might add that the coded lockboxes at the top of the stairs are not the ones you use to enter the code given to you! You will enter that code on your coded door lock! Communication with the managers was awesome and they checked in throughout our stay. Trackside Penthouse is now our go to place to stay in Blue Ridge.
