All was exactly as we expected except for the all night and early morning wake up by the crazy loud barking dogs that sounded as if they were right outside our door. The wood stove functioned well for heating the space and the bedding was great for our needs. Communication with the host, Lisa, was great!

It was a great overall experience. My two sons had a blast!!! I was nervous about having to start a fire for the fire place but it was super easy and the host left great instructions.

This place was great for my kids and myself. My 11 year old daughter picked this place. She loved it. We didn’t have WiFi or a shower but both of my daughters loved it. The highlight was seeing my 11 yo seeing a banana slug on the redwood tree from the window! Lots of close trail to hike too! The owner was quickly available as well.

It was a wonderful cozy environment! Very clean, and welcoming. We especially loved the wood stove, It kept us toasty all night. We definitely plan on visiting again. Thank you for a wonder birthday weekend.

The dome is super roomy! Definitely the most unique stays I’ve been in and made for a memorable experience. Despite no shower, the amenities were nice and the local coffee was an awesome touch. I was nervous about using the composting toilet but the instructions were very clear and it did not take away from the stay at all. The Bed was nice and comfy and as I mentioned first, I loved the spacious interior of the dome!The only issue we had was locating the property at night. We accidentally went nextdoor to the neighbors house but they were very kind in directing us to the correct driveway. Be sure to find the “A” on the address house number!

Amazing glamping place. My boyfriend and I did a weekend stay since there aren’t any showers. The view of the forest and the campfire is super cozy.

Such a cool space! Set right in the heart of Humboldt's famous redwoods, but only a quick drive to town (Fieldbrook, Blue Lake especially) and SUPER peaceful. We had plenty of floor space for my bestie to set up an air mattress as well. Hosts were super friendly and accommodating - would love to come back again sometime soon!

We had a great time staying at the gnome dome. The surrounding area is beautiful as the dome is surrounded by trees. The electric heater being included is great as it does take a bit of time to start the wood fire. Our only gripe was that we weren’t able to find any coffee for the coffee maker. Aside from that, we would definitely recommend this Vrbo!

I loved staying at the gnome dome. It was clean, it had very good instructions on how to use equipment, and it is a fun atmosphere. I was only there for one night but it would have been fun to stay longer!
