Definitely one of the best properties we have stayed at. High end everything, from kitchen appliances to the mattress. Fully equipped kitchen. Beautiful vies of the lake as well.

House, location, and setting were beautiful. Close enough to visit Charlotte also. Everything was cleaned to perfection, all beds were wonderful, kitchen was fully stocked. Owners gave attention to every detail--supplied everything we needed. Highly recommend!!!

The family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful, very clean, comfy beds, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you needed to cook and enjoy a meal. Family time was well spent relaxing and taking in the beautiful lake views. The host was really nice and quickly responsive to my questions. I definitely recommend if you’re looking for a nice & peaceful getaway, you will not be disappointed. I only wish I would’ve booked for a longer stay.

The house is awesome! It still has that brand new smell. The kitchen is perfect. Multiple decks, with the biggest enclosed so no bugs can get in. All beds were comfortable and the entire place was spotless. The dock was perfect for fishing. Our kids had a blast.

A great family retreat

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lake Norman. Being that the house is brand new, it was exceptionally clean and well appointed. Access to the kayaks was lots of fun for the kids and allowed us to explore the lake and do some fishing. Communication with the owners was also seamless and made for a great stay. Thanks!

We absolutely loved our stay here!! The view was incredible, communication with the owner was top notch! Almost immediately when I accidentally locked us out of the house(lol oops) I texted and got a response right away!! The amenities were great the house is all around beautiful clean and just like the pics! We are looking for a reason to come back!!

I stayed at this property for a week with my wife and our five children. The house is brand new and has everything you need for a great vacation. The area under the home has ample seating to sit during rain or to get out of the hot sun. The grassy area around the house offers play areas and the dock/pier is a nice area to access the lake. We would love to stay at this house again. Host was responsive and helpful during our stay.

Just amazing!! We take a ladies trip each November and this was by far the nicest house we’ve ever stayed in. We were surprised to find a Christmas tree which added to the weekend ambiance. The home is filled with special touches such as plush bath towels and floor mats, shower products, hand soaps, blankets on the couch. The gourmet kitchen has everything you could possibly need for cooking. The owner was extremely accommodating and quick to respond. After inquiring about a crockpot, he went out and purchased one before our visit! This is a true dream house.

Best house ever!!!

This house was the best house we ever rented!!!! Everything is new, great layout with big panaramic windows to the lake, with bright sunshine and bird singing in the morning!!! Kitchen is stocked with everything you might need, board games for kids, ping-pong table, beautifull furniture! All the things are assembled with love and care! Gourgeous view to the lake! We loooved getting out to the screen porch in the morning with cup of coffee and breathing fresh air from the lake and enjoing sunrise!!!! We will definately be back!!!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!

I live in Lincolnton which is only 30 minutes from The Cabin. My family has owned this property since 1973 when My mom and Dad had a log cabin. My sister Gaylynn Cartner and I built this cabin in 2025 and we enjoy having family gatherings and hosting families from all over.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We really love being on the upper end of Lake Norman and being across from the state park which greatly reduces the number of houses on the lake. We call this the quieter end of the lake.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We have been enjoying the lake for 50 years now and we have had many gatherings with family and friends that have been cut short due to the heat or the rain. So we built our cabin on stilts so we could be outside but have shade and protection from the weather.
