Escapade au bord du lac, famille.

Profitez de la vie du lac et détendez-vous à Bally K, un chalet confortable de 3 chambres sur un lot isolé de 1,5 acres au bord de l'eau. 28 minutes du centre-ville de Charlotte, 5 minutes de la I-77

Il s'agit d'un lot Ă  faible pente. Tout le monde a un accĂšs facile Ă  l'eau. Pas de marches Ă  monter au quai, pas de marches Ă  monter pour rentrer Ă  la maison.

Récemment rénové avec nouvelle cuisine, planchers de bois franc et nouveaux meubles. Couvert et projeté dans le porche avec salle à manger. Terrasse ouverte avec vue imprenable sur le lac.

Quai flottant de 30 'x 30'. Terrain en eau profonde avec plus de 15 pieds d'eau Ă  la jetĂ©e, mĂȘme en hiver. Gazebo couvert situĂ© au-dessus de l'eau pour profiter des couchers de soleil du lac normand.

Bénéficiez d'une utilisation illimitée des 4 kayaks et du stand up paddle - tous gratuits avec la location. Lancez-les depuis le quai ou depuis la plage de sable au bord de l'eau. Grande baignade dans la baie privée, pas de trafic de bateau, donc c'est sûr pour les enfants.

Apportez votre bateau, installez-vous à l'accÚs public au ruisseau Haggar. Skipper à moins de 1/2 mile de retour à notre jetée, attachez-le dans la cale de bateau privée.

Cùble Time Warner avec Disney, Nick, Nick Jr, Boomerang et toutes les chaßnes pour enfants. Play Station, Wii, avec beaucoup de jeux. Super endroit pour que les enfants profitent de leurs vacances d'été.

10 min en voiture de Target, Best Buy, Sam's, Wall-Mart, Dick's, Belk's et plus. 10 minutes en voiture de la bonne nourriture, ou prenez votre bateau pour l'un des nombreux restaurants au bord du lac.

The home was well laid out. We felt small with only 2 of us and 3 bedrooms. Kitchen had everything we needed. Shower had good pressure and multiple heads. View was amazing. Trips were easy to navigate.

Another amazing stay at Bally K:) We love the cozy cottage and the nature around it. Lovely scenery just looking out of the patio with lake view. The cottage is always clean upon arrival and decorated accordingly which gives out a homey vibe. Thank you for accommodating us again and hope to visit soon!

Cozy cottage, with all the extras that made our Holiday season special. They decorated the cottage for the Christmas Season, left a beautiful floral arrangement fr our centerpiece on Thanksgiving Day, and left firewood by the fireplace to enjoy a cozy outdoor fire. Perfection!

Absolutely 10/10! Very nice place, from the hospitality and charming touches to peaceful location. We especially loved the screened in porch, fire pit, and gazebo on the dock. The hosts went above and beyond, providing their phone numbers in case we needed anything, fresh fruit and flowers, beach towels, life jackets, firewood for the fire pit, kayaks, and more. This place is so relaxing, we can't wait to return. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

The cottage was perfect! Very clean and comfortable. It was so cozy that we felt like we were home! The lake property is amazing even though a cold front hit right when we got there. We had a fire in the fire pit that is located right by the water! We will definitely stay here again!

It was incredible. I wish I could’ve been there longer. I would love to come back with my kids next time. The peacefulness of the location, the amenities including the hang out spot at the dock, the communication with the owner, everything was superb. Highly recommend!

We’ve been coming to Bally K cottage twice a year for past few years. It’s an easy, relaxing and quiet location. The owners are great to work with. Restaurants and grocery stores 10 mins away. Easy to check-in and out. Great access to the lake and dock fishing. Comfortable , home atmosphere. The grand kids come for a day and stay in the water the whole time. Paddle boards, kayaks and life vests are available. We will be back.

Great place! We enjoyed the home with all the amenities. The walk down to the lake was easy with no steps or hills, there were plenty or kayaks and paddle boards for us all to enjoy. We will be back!

What a wonderful cozy place to stay! The lot has an amazing view of the water and the new dock was a wonderful place to stay, play, and dock the boat. We stayed for a week and made so many beautiful memories. Everything is even better in person! Shops, and restaurants are within 10-minute range. We walked in the morning and enjoyed the area. Kids loved to see deers walking in the forest. We would definitely stay again! Absolutely a gem!

Lake Side Gem!

First time visiting Lake Norman with my family and found this gem of a property with everything you need for complete lakes side relaxation. Tim, the owner was a great host, and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect for our stay. We will be back when visiting Lake Norman in the future.

I do not usually do reviews- This is much needed to let everyone know what a wonderful place. The owner was very thoughtful in furnishing the house- everything we needed and more was supplied (beachtowels/ throws/coffee pods/life jackets and so much more) The view of the lake and outside sitting areas were wonderful. Great stay at Bally K!

We booked last minute to do some house hunting and found this gem! Bally K is in an idyllic setting nestled in a quiet cove on Lake Norman. Even bad weather couldn’t ruin our visit. The convenience of tying up our boat was a huge bonus.Tim was kind enough to assist us with the boat launching. The cottage exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival there was a generous fruit bowl and lovely flowers to welcome us. The whole place was sparkling clean and fresh.The bed was extra cozy and the shower was luxurious. Every night we grilled and made a fire in the family room. We would have preferred a sunnier week but Bally K was a delightful shelter from the storms. Looking forward to booking again soon!

Perfect Lakeside Cottage

Very much enjoyed our stay again! Thank you for sharing your home, and all the extras! We had a relaxing time and cannot wait to return! Comfy beds, screened-in porch with plenty of seating, the dock furniture was great for evening fishing or hanging out, and the sunning deck with umbrella is perfect for lounging. Loved the new couch and chair as well, and that the kitchen is always well stocked! Quality finishes make this one feel comfortable and like home!

Born in Ireland, Tom and Katie lived and worked all over the world. Their 2 children attended American schools in Saudi Arabia, Thailand, and Indonesia.

Although they traveled extensively, they always called Charlotte home. Now retired, they spend part of the year at their home in Mooresville, and the rest in Northern Ireland.

Bally K was purchased in 1982 as a vacation home. Both Tom and Katie have a passion for hosting. Since owning a chain of boutique motels seemed out of reach, (and a lot of work) Bally K Cottage was born.
