The Retreat is perfectly placed on the Alsea Bay with views of the bay and the Pacific Ocean. This wonderful waterfront retreat ~ with a separate studio ~ will be your favorite rendezvous while exploring the Oregon coast! Where the forest meets the sea is the motto of the little town of Waldport. It is a place where woodland and ocean wildlife are in abundance.

Spend time with the binoculars to watch the sea life right outside this home. The Retreat has an open-concept main floor with plenty of comfy places to relax and watch the tides of the bay. With sliding doors across the water facing side of the home, there are fantastic views from the deck and the living room! The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. The deck off the living room expands the living space so you can grill up a great dinner on the deck or relax and enjoy your favorite beverage and the view. Everyone will love to gather at the beautiful dining table and hang out in the living room watching a favorite sporting event. With the addition of the studio next door, you will have plenty of space for family and friends. When staying in the studio, we ask that no dogs be allowed in this space.

This home sleeps up to 10 with three bedrooms and three baths in the main house and another bed and bath in the studio next to the house. In the main house, there are two bedrooms upstairs, one with a Queen bed and one with a Full bed with peeks of the bay! They share a full bath between them. The Primary bedroom with a queen bed is down a few steps on the main floor. It has an ensuite bath and a washer/dryer tucked away in a closet. This bedroom has its own television and sofa to relax on. Another full bath is also available on the main floor. There is a sleeper sofa available in the living room for that little extra sleeping space! Next door is where you can cozy up in another queen bed, slip the window open, and fall asleep to the rhythm of the waves. A second kitchen features great prep space, a mini fridge, glass cook top, farm sink, and all that you will need to whip up and enjoy a late night snack! The bathroom with barn door has a spa-like tiled shower for you to enjoy. The studio has its own deck and its very own hot tub to kick back and relax in!

A short walk takes you to several beach access points. On the bay, wildlife viewing of harbor seals, migratory and non-migratory birds, and other sea life can be found. Enjoy the wonderful Woodland Trail in Waldport when you want to explore and get a glimpse of where the forest meets the sea! Or, put your kayak into the bay and follow a 10-mile route along the Alsea River, Drift Creek and Lint Slough where you might be joined by seals, river otters and lots of birds. After a day of exploring, hop into one of two hot tubs and relax to the sounds of the bay and ocean.

This home does not allow cat guests or other non-human, non-canine visitors. Dogs are welcome in the main house but not in the studio but must be registered in advance and paid prior to arrival. This home has a 3-dog maximum occupancy! Pet Guests: One time $35+tax fee per dog. Pet fees are not included in the original reservation.

Age Requirement: The primary registered guest must be at least 26 years of age. The majority of guests must be over 25, or children under adult supervision.
