This house is perfect for a relaxing vacation for friends and families alike! Enjoy the convenience of amenities like a cozy porch, WiFi, and a washer/dryer combo with linens provided. The owners of Salterra have been long time islanders of Emerald Isle. When they built the house back in 1983, the island was much different than today. Locals were about the only other people found on the island and there weren't many houses around either. The house was built with love and our family has a deep love of the salt life and what it brings! Many fishing trips, boat outings and beach days have been enjoyed over the past 4 decades! As rentals have changed over the years, we decided to put our beloved cottage on rental platforms to share it with others who also enjoy the beauty of the salt life and hope that it brings joy to visitors that come and stay here.

The Whitewater neighborhood has been a long coveted area of Emerald Isle since our cottage was built! With the surrounding trees, quiet streets and friendly neighbors, you can't beat this location. It's a short walk to the local public beach access with a convenient ramp that goes all the way out to the sand. There's also a local Wildlife boat ramp across the street for boat lovers and water sports enthusiasts alike! If you like to explore the town, there's a bike path all the way to the shops.

Our cottage is very unique in that it is mostly surrounded by trees and greenery. The house gives you a feeling of being secluded and in nature while still being a short walk to both the beach and the waterway. The street is quiet and everyone is very friendly and family oriented. When the wind is blowing the right way, you can hear the ocean waves from the serene porch while also enjoying the wildlife of the surrounding greenery. There's really nothing to compare the magic of this special beach getaway!
