High Country Hideaway is one of the more private condos-located on the lower floor of the end building and comfortable year round with heat and air as well as a gas fireplace. Unplug or stay connected with wifi inside and on the porch. Enjoy local restaurants or cook in the well stocked kitchen. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate provided, as well as basic spices and oil. Dine at the table (seating for 4) or enjoy 2 seats at the bar. Queen bed and a futon provide sleeping for up to 4 people in this studio condo-most comfortable for 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids. Relax on the covered porch under leafy trees after a day of exploring. Parking for one vehicle is at the top of the stairs down to the condo. Fall in love with Banner Elk, NC and enjoy all the magic of the High Country from this centrally located hideaway.

We had a great time here. The property was clean and comfortable and we will be back whenever we go to another App State game.

The WiFi, air confitioning, shower pressure, washer/dryer were fantastic. It smelled really musty in there and my husband had to take a Zyrtec each night. Check in process was really easy and the owner was really kind to give us some great food and fishing recommendations. The unit above us was extremely noisy- stomping, moving furniture, etc until early hours of the morning which made it hard to sleep even with a sound machine on my phone. Maybe provide a box fan to try to drown it out? We love the area and enjoyed our trip

Great stay for a Beech Mountain event

We had an amazing time on our first visit to this area! This is a cozy place but the space is used well and we had everything we needed. It's perfect for a couple and very welcoming.

I've been a small business owner in Boone, NC for 30 years. I am not sure I could have managed that without a place to get away. My condo, High Country Hideaway is just that-- a great place to spend time in the mountains relaxing and breathing in fresh mountain air. The shaded porch and yard is a great place to get away from heat and stress in the summer and watch the snow fall in the winter. Spending time here has made all the difference.
I wanted to share this peaceful property with others and manage it myself.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

This small, quiet condo development is right off the highway and smack dab in the middle of the High Country. It is a quick trip to Blowing Rock, Banner Elk and Boone.
The paved road, parking and close proximity to a main road make access easy year round, but also is a unique peaceful space tucked away just off the beaten path.

Being on the secluded end building and lowest floor makes this condo great for getting away while also being close to it all when you want it. Pull the blackout shades and sleep in, or be up with the birds for an adventure or coffee on the porch.
