Welcome to our centrally located Brookside bliss! With convenient proximity to the hospital, shops and amenities, as well as a beautiful park across the street, our cozy home offers three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a washer and dryer for your convenience. Each room also has a dedicated workspace. Book now for a serene country escape in the heart of town, with easy access to city attractions, and outdoor activities like golfing, rock crawling, fishing,hiking and so much more!
No additional guests allowed without host approval.
No Smoking in the house. An extra fee of $500 will be charged.
No illegal drugs allowed.
No rearranging of furniture. An extra fee of $300 will be charged
Pets are allowed with host approval and the understanding there will be an additional pet fee depending on length of stay and number of pets.

We had a wonderful stay! Ashleigh was super responsive and made everything easy. While the house itself is older, the inside was cozy and comfortable, and we really enjoyed our time there. A big bonus is the location—it’s right across from the park, which the kids absolutely loved exploring. I’d definitely recommend this place!

Clean, but the outside trash cans were not emptied from the last guests. Also, while the interior is cute, the decks and steps need renovation.

Everything we wanted!

The host was incredibly responsive, the home was beautiful and had everything thing we could need!! The park across the street was wonderful for pets and children. We were mere minutes from Smith's and great restaurants. We would absolutely stay again!!

Air conditioner thermostat control on first floor did not work. The only control was upstairs which was unbearably loud so we had to turn it off for the night so we could sleep. During night it became uncomfortably warm.

I really hate to write this as we frequently stay in Rentals and have some expectation’s, but to start off when pulling up there were 3 overflowing trash containers, that smelled terrible. I had to message the property manager to obtain door access minutes before arrival and received the incorrect information. Also, the community park across the street had multiple drunks or other substances camped out in the grass. (This should be brought up to whomever runs that park) where can I start about the house- Front door drags on the floor when opening, floors are uneven from remodeling, tv glitches in main room, blinds in kitchen were unable to be close, fridge doors do not open all the way and rubbed the wall so only could use one side of the fridge, and the master bed squeaks on every movement in it. All in all we made it work but I was deceived by the photos, thinking it would have been an amazing stay. For pet owners- they thoroughly inspect pet errors immediately after check out, make sure you do a strict walk through to ensure your pet didn’t leave a pee stain like ours did.

A few suggestions

The location was excellent. The beds were very soft (too soft). It rained both nights we were there. With the rain, there was a drip from the roof onto the cooler located next to the master bedroom. The drip was like Chinese water torture. I put towels out on the cooler to muffle the dripping on night #2. That worked well. The fan in the master bedroom is always on high. It would be nice to be able to turn it down to low. When we looked to see if it might be possible to sleep on the couch (because of the dripping water), checking to see if it had a pullout bed, we noticed a lot of food under the couch cushions. Note - I tried to find a way to send this info to the host/ owner about a week after our stay, but it does not seem to be possible to contact the host from the desktop - VRBO web page.
