Les Berkshires au printemps, en été et en automne sont pleins de beauté, et il est maintenant temps de planifier votre escapade réparatrice dans ce studio idyllique avec une vue magnifique sur les collines et les prairies verdoyantes. Parfait pour n'importe quel couple (peut également accueillir un petit enfant), ce joyau d'un chalet offre une pause romantique qui plaira si vous êtes un randonneur actif ou un motard, ou si vous voulez simplement vous asseoir sous les arbres ou au bord de la piscine avec un bon réservez et savourez le paysage inégalé. Vous serez sur une route de campagne isolée, mais à seulement quelques minutes du centre-ville de Great Barrington avec ses restaurants, sa musique, son théâtre et ses boutiques. C'est un trajet facile vers toutes les attractions de la région et de superbes randonnées sur le sentier des Appalaches. Les routes de la région sont également idéales pour le vélo.

Great weekend getaway

We recently stayed at this lovely Berkshires cottage on Round Hill Road. The room was warm and cozy, with a nice kitchenette and a dining table. The views from the cottage were really beautiful, and we took several pictures. Since it was winter, we could not use the pool, but I imagine it would be even more lovely in summer when the pool would be open. I would definitely stay here again.

The place was beautiful, a very nice place, cozy and quiet, ideal to rest and disconnect. Everything was very well taken care of, with details that made the stay even more pleasant. In addition, the owner is very attentive and always aware of everything, which made the experience even better. Overall, it was a great stay and I definitely recommend it. I hope to come back soon!

Charming stay with incredible views

It was an excellent stay overall. Particular highlights were the breathtaking views from the property, especially at sunrise and on clear nights, and the central location affording convenient access to all of the Berkshires.

The studio, set into the hillside below the garage, has an expansive view over the pool area and fields and hills beyond. Very beautiful and peaceful. Frederica is very helpful and responsive, and the studio has everything one needs. We were happy we had chosen this place, and would return.

Berkshire Retreat

Very relaxing, bucolic location with an amazing view. Beautiful swimming pool and grounds. We had everything we needed in our guest house, and Frederica was a very responsive host. We will try to stay here again on our next trip to Great Barrington.

Wonderful getaway!

Beautiful, quiet country retreat an easy drive from many cultural attractions! Large and airy, with ample room for two, it's an easy place to spend a week without feeling a bit cramped, with great views and a thoughtful host who provided many extras and was always available but respectful of privacy. Hope to return next year!

Views for Days

Absolutely gorgeous property. The views cannot be beat, especially from the pool. The space is cute and cozy, totally enough space for two. If you do nothing else on your trip, swing over to the Berkshire Mountain Bakery for a pizza and some ciabatta.

Great Barrington Getaway

A lovely, private cottage with a beautiful view of the countryside. Very comfortable and cozy. It's great having a kitchen for not needing to eat out for every meal. Great walks are waiting for you outside the door. And there's a beautiful pool as well.

Gorgeous views & walks

The cottage is just perfect for a stay near Great Barrington. The windows have breathtaking views of farmland and Berkshires. Frederica is just a fantastic host: helpful and available, but not at all pushy. GB has some of the best food in the Northeast and hiking and walking and running--directly from the cottage and nearby--is stunning. This was my second visit and I look forward to returning!

You Won't be Disappointed

From the bottle of wine and ginger snaps upon arrival to the use of poles and snowshoes, Frederica and Efram were the consummate hosts. Their studio was private, quiet, and well appointed with everything that we needed (including dog bowls for our four-legged friends!). We had a lovely time in the Berkshires, thanks in large part to their hospitality. You won't be disappointed.

Best Berkshires Getaway By Far!

Our hosts were wonderful and thoughtful. The cottage was a perfect summer getaway and retreat for me, my husband, and our 4 year old. The pool was a huge hit with the little one and us. We made sure we took a daily dip. My toddler was ecstatic about the Hello Kitty toy waiting for her! The stay was perfect and our hosts met all of our needs. Can’t wait to return!

Perfect Summer Location

Spectacular views with a solid efficiency apartment. Poolside is grand looking towards the Berkshires. No stove/oven but there’s a microwave. Great dog option with a wonderful grass field for frolicking.

Suddenly Summer in the Berkshires

My husband and I, and our two dogs passed a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend in Frederica's cottage. The weather was incredible and we enjoyed the fresh breezes blowing up from the valley below. Morning walks were magical along the quiet road, with heifers and calves in one field and sheep and their guard dog in another. If you are a hiker, there are more trails of all levels than you could possibly do in a short stay (you just have to go back!). Food in the nearby towns was fantastic, and easy to get to. Frederica and Ephram are awesome hosts, and keep both the house and the gardens well tended. It's a really beautiful place to stay.
