Mainstay est niché dans une longue allée privée et est très calme. L'appartement est spacieux, lumineux et propre avec un joli patio extérieur. C'est sur la piste cyclable qui mène aux plages voisines, ou vous pouvez vous diriger directement vers la ville. Surfside Beach est à quelques minutes et notre emplacement est pratique pour tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour une visite parfaite de l'île Nous sommes heureux de vous aider à vous guider. Des cartes et des guides sont également fournis dans l'appartement.

Great location on the bus route great restaurant nearby. Very clean and owner provided everything we needed backpack chairs, cooler, coffee and spices for cooking. Lovely private outdoor space and bike racks. Will stay again !!!

The cottage was very clean, great location, and very quiet. Good communication with the owner. Cottage was furnished with beach chairs, towels, and an umbrella which made for a very nice afternoon at Surfside Beach. We will definitely consider renting this cottage again.

Great location!

We had a great time at Gail's cottage. It's in a great location, convenient to bus routes and bike trails. Communication was great with Gail, check-in was a breeze, and the home was clean and had great amenities!

Great Getaway!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Gail’s property. It was a lovely place and very clean. We also loved the location in Surfside. I highly recommend this property for your next getaway to Nantucket!

Great spot for two. Close to the bus line making it easy to explore the whole island. Definitely did fine without a car.

Nantucket stay

This was a very cute Vrbo. It was far enough out of town to not have all the noise. It sits far enough off the road that you don’t realize there is traffic. If you Uber it is easy for them to pick up and drop off. We totally enjoyed our stay at the house and on Nantucket.

Close to the beach but not a place for socializing..

This was an experience similar to staying with a host family rather than a home-away. We went in with the assumption that we would be renting a private apartment; however, the owner lives upstairs which is not included in the listing description. This made us feel slightly uncomfortable almost like we needed to tiptoe around when coming in at night, playing music, etc. We also had friends over before heading to dinner one evening and were questioned about the number of people staying in the apartment which made us not want to entertain at all again while visiting. The apartment was very, very nice; however, we will most likely select a different place next time. In fact, we only stayed in this unit for one night and then chose to stay with friends for the remainder of our stay (3 nights). I would also keep in mind that there is only one air conditioning unit in the bedroom.

Gail provided all the instructions we needed and responded very quickly to any requests we had. The house was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable.

First Time to Nantucket

Mainstay was a fabulous place to stay for our first adventure to Nantucket. Gail welcomed us when we arrived and walked us through the apartment. The kitchen was well stocked, the living space is very roomy, the bathroom and laundry room were clean and the bedroom was nice and cool. Gail is very conscientious and very concerned for her guests to be happy and comfortable. Our stay was wonderful and we would stay again. Highly recommend Mainstay!!

Super clean and convenient location

Mainstay was super clean. It’s in the center of the island so you can easily get anywhere. Gail was a dream to rent from - super helpful and friendly but definitely gave us our space.

Great Stay at Mainstay

Everything was as listed and the location was great for us. We parked our car and walked or biked everywhere we wanted to go. And our host was very nice and helpful.

Amazing spot on Nantucket!!

This was our second year staying on Gail's property and we hope to stay here again as well. The location is very convenient to get to all points on the island but it is also quiet and clean. Most importantly, Gail is awesome. She is very accommodating in all aspects and is super responsive to any questions or concerns that arise and makes sure they are taken care of ASAP. Quiet, clean getaway

A Bright, well cared for space, the apartment has a fabulous kitchen, comfortable seating and bed. The homeowner, Gail, takes pride in her rentals. She is very communicative and helpful. Please note that the home is comprised of three separate spaces/ 2 rental apartments, with Gail helpfully available upstairs. All spaces have separate entrances and parking. Great for a quick getaway stay on ACK!

Cozy, quiet, getaway! Just what we needed!

We spent our anniversary weekend at the Mainstay Cottage and it was great! It was very central / close to everything we needed. We were able to bike to the grocery store and and some shops nearby and were able to bike to Surfside beach - 8mins away! Gail was an excellent host as well (she even left eggs, coffee, and breakfast items in the fridge for us -- so sweet :). Even though Gail lives on the property (upstairs), we felt very much like we were in a private secluded setting without company, which was just what we were looking for. The apartment / cottage itself is very comfortable and has everything you need to make the best of a vacation on island. We highly recommend staying here! We will certainly be back soon. Thanks Gail!

Fantastic!

Thank you Gail for your hospitality! We loved the rental. My wife and I came here to run the half marathon and the location was perfect for us. Gail was very helpful with pointing us in the right direction for fun after the race. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience

A nice, clean and cozy place in a quiet but centralized location.

We had a great stay at Gail's place. First of all, she was incredibly friendly and greeted us upon our arrival and shows us the ins and outs. Gail provided us with plenty of tips (which we needed) regarding bike rentals, beach reviews, restaurants and more. The first night was a little chilly so Gail even brought us a space heater that warmed the place right up! The cottage provided more than enough space with a great outdoor area to enjoy our morning coffee. While the vast majority of our time was spent on the beaches or exploring the island, coming back to Gail's was like a private sanctuary, removed from the hustle of downtown but only a short bike ride from everywhere you wanted to go. We couldn't have been happier with Gail or her place and would recommend it to anyone seeking a Nantucket weekend getaway. - Conor OKeefe

Highly recommended

My stay in Nantucket was great because of Gail's Place. First it was one of the cleanest places I stayed in. Super quiet and so centrally located. The bed had a mattress that you could expect in a 5 star Hotel, I slept like a baby. When I come back next year, I know where i will be staying...At Gail's place....Nick Highly recommended.

Matt and Jen were great tenants . They were great at communication and were very respectful . They also left the apartment nice and tidy . I would rent to them again anytime.
