This place was GORGEOUS. It was our first time in Fredricksberg but it definitely will not be our last. So many great shops within walking distance with so many things to do. The bathroom was incredible, with the tub, ut can fit two large people so it is very adequate. Would definitely recommend and will absolutely be coming back with friends!

This place is awesome! We had the best time and enjoyed the proximity to Main Street. The bathroom is beautiful and everything is very comfortable. Can’t wait to come back!

I was seeking a quiet, comfortable, simple place to let me unwind and recharge for my 7x24 role as caregiver for my wife who suffers with Parkinsons Disease.My small puppy Maxine and I just curled up together for 5 days of wonderful nothing.

Not my first stay at Austin Street Retreat- will come again. Annie's Cabin is charming, well appointed and peaceful. I had the best of both worlds: the busyness of Main Street and the quiet of the cabin.

Cozy cabin near Main Street

This is a very cute cabin tucked away one block from Main Street. Has a nice bath tub and a separate shower(although very small). This is a very roomy and comfortable cabin that is decorated very nicely.

Close to Main -Romantic

Nice stay, soft bed, cool, could use a hand towel hanger, bigger fridge where there was room for things. Fast email service from Gastehaus on everything. You can literally step out of your room, and walk through parking lot of Lutheran Church and your close to Baron Antiques, not far to Aldorf, Hondo's, Antique Mall and West End Restaurant. Could use a tray or table by pedestal sink, a beautiful bouquet of flowers on table in living, had coffee. Lock is backwards on door. Air muffles Main Street sounds pretty good, roomy and had some dishes, which was nice. Large roomy and had tissues, nice bath products and extra towels.

Great stay

Wonderful rock cottage, warm and cozy furnishings. It had everything we needed and plenty of space to spread out. Everything was clean, comfortable bed, cute little kitchen area, lots of hot water. Staff originally gave us the key to a different cottage but luckily they were still open when we went back, once that was settled it was all perfect. Would definitely stay there again!

We asked to change cabins, so we could have a shower and they let us change with ease. we really liked the cosiness of the place. We would stay again.
