Your Portland adventure begins at this cool 1-bedroom condo. The lovely bedroom features a queen bed, and the bathroom includes a bathtub and hair dryer. In the additional living space, you'll find 2 twin beds for extra guests. Our place is equipped for 30 day stays to make your holiday one to remember.
Portland, Oregon is a marvelous city inhabited by enlightened residents. You will find friendly faces all over the city. There is much to explore in and around Portland. There are colleges, universities, libraries, museums, restaurants, music venues, auditoriums and unbeatable views of the river walks and bridges. Public transportation is outstanding and affordable all over Portland. You may regret bringing your car. Portland is a well organized and clean city. You will wonder why you did not think about moving to it years ago. Alternatively, you will consider coming back on your next vacation.
The Condo (See Photos):
-600 SF, 1 Bed/1 Bath, Balcony** with views of Pettygrove Park & Walkways around the area. The unit is well furnished and comfortable for a long term stay. You have everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay, except food for 30 days. You might have to go shopping for food once or twice during your stay. There is a Safeway on Jefferson Street. On a good day you might enjoy walking to it, about a 15 minute invigorating walk. Costco is located in Beaverton, about a 30 minute drive. There are two convenience stores within a 5 minute walk. CVS pharmacy store is right next door. There is a food court with multiple ethnic food vendors close to CVS.
The Kitchen:
-Electric Stove/Oven, Dishwasher, Refrigerator, 2 Microwaves, a Toaster Oven, Ice-Maker, two coffee makers, coffee grinder and a 4 Slice Toaster. Plus plenty of cabinet space.
-Sugar, salt, pepper, Splenda, coffee beans and pods for the Keurig, pasta sauce, pasta, bottled water, ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, pickles, Jasmine rice etc.
-Pots, pens, wok, forks, spoons, knives, frying pens, coffee cups, wine glasses, tall glasses, aluminum Foil, wax paper, saran wrap, baking ware, clock, dish cleaning supplies etc.
The Living Room:
-Two sofas, 2 twin beds with mattresses, dining table/chairs, TV, WIFI router, Cable with 100âs of channels, lamps, coffee tables, TV stand, side tables, folding table, bookcase with books, air-purifier
The Bathroom:
-Dehumidifier with removable water receptacle (needs to be emptied when full), sink, toilet, toilet seat-riser for elderly or injured adults, bathtub/shower, full-size mirror (back of the door), cabinet with doors for toiletry & misc. Small towel hanging rod below the cabinet, toilet cleaning brushes, a plunger, toilet cleaning supplies plus a large memory foam absorbent mat on the floor.
The Closets:
-There are two closets next to the bathroom. One has the AC/heating furnace and the other larger closet has the water heater in it. Many useful items are stored in the larger closet.
The Bedroom:
-Queen bed with headboard, queen mattress, two side tables with clocks and lamps, computer table with a lamp, a small bookcase for clean pants and shirts storage, a tall white bookcase for linen and towels, a folding stool (small) to reach the upper shelves of the kitchen cabinets or closets, a double-rod clothes garment rack on wheels, a large closet sliding doors and 3 hanging closet organizers to keep individual personal clothes separate, lots of hangers and 2 large storage compartments above the clothes hanging area.
Door to Enter the Condo Unit:
-The door has an electronic combination lock for ease of entry and exit. You donât have to worry about locking yourself out. To enter the apartment you enter a numerical code and the deadbolt sides open. To lock the door you press only one button.
The Building:
-The main entrance into the lobby of the building is secured by cameras and electronic locks. There are three elevators serving the building. There are recycling receptacles in the basement (B2 floor). Each floor has its trash chute in the hallway outside the door.
Laundry:
There are 10 very fast large size washing machines and 10+ gas operated powerful dryers in the basement floor (B floor). The laundry facility is completely free and is open 24 hours a day. In about an hour you can wash and dry clothes.
The Parking Garage:
-It is secured and covered. It is for multiple cars and the garage door clearance is 7 feet (please note the 7 feet clearance height). This garage is across the street. Address: 150 SW Harrison St,, you will see the structure across the street as you go down the steps of 111 SW Harrison main glass door exit. The parking garage level is P-3, it is actually at the street level with a big metal rolling grille. The parking stall number is 78.
Public Transportation:
As you walk down the steps of the building, you will find that there is bus and tram service on Harrison Street.
**If you have a young child with you, please make sure that you donât leave chairs/tables out on the balcony. A child may get tempted to climb on it to look down and create a tumble/fall hazard for them. Please pay attention to this notice.
