À quelques pas du patio et de la cour du jardin se trouve cet espace unique au cœur de Belmont / Hawthorne. Un endroit propre et moderne avec des plafonds de 9 ', de l'énergie solaire et des planchers radiants - une partie d'une maison de 128 ans magnifiquement rénovée. Facile à marcher, monter dans un bus ou prendre un Car-to-Go pour aller n'importe où à Portland. Plan droit sur le centre-ville, arrêt de bus d'un demi-pâté de maisons dans les deux sens. Profitez d'une courte promenade dans les boutiques uniques de Hawthorne, ou marchez à quelques centaines de mètres du Belmont Dairy Block où vous trouverez une nouvelle épicerie qui arrivera bientôt et une poignée de nouveaux restaurants populaires. Deb was a great host! The room is so accessible to public transportation, easy to travel with or without a car. Walkable vintage neighborhoods nearby. A lot more perks than the listing mentions.The room was quiet and peaceful, no traffic noises inside. Deb warned us about the old floors squeaking above us, but it wasn't bad at all. The backyard area was a blessing and meeting the staff from the nearby business was a nice treat. Quirky Portland at it's finest.

This space was perfect for my needs for this trip. I wanted a clean, quiet, and comfortable home base where I could relax and decompress between all the vacation things. The place was really well maintained, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfy, and there were plenty of towels. The back garden was wonderful too! Deb was a really accommodating host. Questions were answered promptly, and I was even able to make last-minute changes to my stay without any issue. I really felt welcomed and like my experience was important to them. The location was super convenient. It was only 15 min from the airport, and walking distance to lots of good food and shopping. I especially enjoyed the attached retail space. There was always street parking available as well. I will absolutely be checking here first the next time I come to Portland!

The apartment was cute and clean; it had everything we needed and very comfortable! The location is great, close to many shops and restaurants but tucked up on the hill where it's quiet and felt very safe! The hosts were great as well - we would stay again!

Deb was always available to help me. I really like Deb and enjoy talking with her. The studio is always spotless when I get there and very cozy. Deb stocks it with all the necessities and some important extras, which I really appreciate because that's a bunch of stuff I don't have to pack. The location is wonderful - lots of shops and restaurants around and it's a pretty safe and quiet neighborhood. I always try to get this place when I go to Portland.

The perfect spot to enjoy Portland. Just a few blocks from Grand Central Bakery and Jam, where I had the most glorious breakfast. The darling little backyard was lovely. Super comfy beds and a great little kitchen for prepping snacks, and such accommodating hosts! Will definitely stay on my next visit.

The 'small city, big town' aspect of Portland is what drew us to Portland 25 years ago. I'm a Montana girl who loves the vibrancy of an urban atmosphere and the culture of both the countryside and the town. My husband Chuck and I have partnered on many projects through the years. He currently lives on site, and I live a mile away. We continue to enjoy working together and have put a lot of love into the Portland Belmont House. We now enjoy sharing it with others.

We bought this property because of its location, bones and vibes! 128 years of stories to tell. A diamond in the rough with unique character and hidden elegance made it a place worth putting our heart and soul into renovating. Solar panels, stagger studded walls, and ample insulation look to the future while the main floor 8' pocket doors, original fir floors, and intricately carved wood work reveal the past. All new electric and plumbing, and sound absorption channels between floors, help remove the unnecessary aggravations of the past to better enjoy the beauty of the space. Reminder: it is a one house duplex, and the sounds of people above can be heard. Some guests hardly notice. For a guest who is bothered by hearing movement above, the soothing sounds of the small noise machine will help.

The Belmont House provides a quiet, comfortable home stay within a vibrant, fascinating part of Portland. We are 3 blocks from the famous Sunflower Intersection at SE 33rd and Yamhill, a uniquely Portland part of Portland. The house charms people. The great yard, patio, barbecue, (and fire pit too!) make a person feel out in the countryside, yet, only a block and a half away are the shops, world class, affordable restaurants, gourmet grocery stores, food carts galore. Public transportation is a stone's throw away. Drive down the street and you are in downtown Portland in 4 minutes. Everything you need right out your door.
