My husband and I had a great stay in this magical little church. It is very artsy & has a great vibe. It's one big room with partitions.The bathroom is a little odd, not having a solid door, but we would just announce when we would be in there.The acoustics were great. There are 2 large speakers suspended near the ceiling. We played our music through those, and could hear details that we can't hear at home. My husband also brought his guitar & amp.The best bet for TV watching would be to bring your device and streaming service passwords, and cast onto the TV. Or, just enjoy the peace and quiet.If you are a light sleeper, note that you can hear the furnace which is in the kitchen (I routinely use earplugs).There is a firepit out back, and many local people sell firewood by the roadside. There are neighbors, but not close. It is back from the street, as you can see on google maps. There is a circular driveway cleared for access/parking, and separation from passing traffic (which is minimal anyway). The long building in front is like an open shed, not somewhere that people would be. The church is nice and secluded from others.The location is great, with a few towns nearby, a short drive to Ithica, and easy drives to various waterfalls and lakes. If you like smoked meats, I recommend State Eatery in Newfield.The kitchen in the church has the standard cooking and dining supplies.It is a beautiful area full of very nice people.We would go again!
