The Upper Rockridge neighborhood of Oakland is a jewel unto itself. Despite what some may say, Oakland is a rich, vibrant, diverse city. Upper Rockridge is considered one of its most beautiful neighborhoods. It is safe, clean, close-knit, friendly, famly-oriented, andwalkable, with restaurants, shops, lakes, hiking, community all nearby.

Our home is completely unique. It sits atop what was long ago called Mount Ararat. It is private and fully-fenced, with extensive grounds surrounded by blue oaks directly overlooking all of San Francisco Bay including the Golden Gate, the Bay Bridge, San Francisco, Alcatraz. Freeway access is close by as is public transportation and, despite being in a city, one feels completely isolated. Lounge with a glass wine in the Adirodack chairs and watch the sun set. BBQ in the gardens while your children play on the grass nearby and your dog romps safely on the grounds. Restaurants and shops are all easily reached. UC Berkeley a 15 minute drive.
