Notre nouvelle maison Craftsman de 2 chambres et 3 salles de bain est situĂ©e au cƓur du quartier Rockridge d'Oakland. C'est un charmant quartier propice Ă  la marche qui possĂšde de nombreux restaurants, marchĂ©s, boutiques et de nombreux modes de transport en commun. Rockridge a un mĂ©lange d'action urbaine tout en conservant un quartier convivial avec un sens de la communautĂ© accueillant. Notre maison conçue par Gary Parsons a 2 chambres / 2 salles de bain Ă  l'Ă©tage (y compris une baignoire profonde) et un plafond voĂ»tĂ©, une suite principale lumineuse.

Perfect Stay

Great location near all the restaurants, cafes, bars, and shopping on College Ave. Very clean, comfortable, and well appointed home. Friendly and responsive hosts. We’d definitely stay there again in the future.

The Goldilocks solution

It was just right. Not too large. Not too small. Terrific kitchen in which to cook. Great living room for evening hang out and the location was just right for those of us who love to walk for really fresh food, well-curated books, clothing (new and vintage), records and restaurants. Couldn’t ask for more. It was just right.

Nice but Expensive

The house had nice finishes and is in a good location. However, the owner lives onsite in an ADU behind the main house (which I didn't see published). For how much is charged, I want a private property not semi-private. Additionally, the bed in the primary has an old mattress where my wife and I sunk to the middle. It's a nice place just too expensive for what you get.

The property was in great shape and location was in easy walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The house was well designed with modern, stylish finishes. It was the perfect size for our family of 5. Zak is a great host.

Terrific home in awesome neighborhood

As previous Oakland residents, we were hoping the vibrant village vibe of the Rockridge neighborhood still existed. It didn’t disappoint; all within walking distance of this nicely renovated craftsman. The home is clean, well equipped and employs many smart home features. Communication with the host was always cordial, prompt and efficient. Getting in and out of the driveway is a tight squeeze (leave the Escalade at home), but, didn’t diminish our enjoyment.

Great location, great neighborhood

Convenient to restaurants, shopping and BART (as well as our granddaughter). The kitchen is fully equipped and great for a family meal if you don’t want to go out, although with all the great places to eat nearby there’s no need to cook. Highly recommended

Business in SF; Unwind in Rockridge

This is about the nearest thing to a perfect VRBO as we've seen. Instant access to BART and SF. Mindblowing array of restaurants on College Ave. Smart house with modern fixtures / heat / lighting with sensible furnishings. Very accommodating host. Great communication.

Oakland trip

The listing said parking available in the driveway. There was NO safe parking in the driveway. Street parking was restricted. We found that out after our arrival. The house was modern and well equipped. The listing said there was a pool - no pool. The listing said there was an elevator- no elevator. The listing said there was a desk and a desk chair, it had neither.

Great location, bring small car

Place is located in super convenient area, within walking minutes from some of the best restaurants in town and a few grocery stores. We all know what Oakland is infamous for, there is private parking but you will need a small car to squeeze in. Otherwise, host was very friendly and accommodating to our schedule after we arrived. All in all, wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

I own our lovely rental home and have lived in the East Bay since 1982. I love the outdoors and am so grateful to have spent over 40 years in such a beautiful place.

I grew up in Southern California and previously worked as a commercial diver in many places around the world (Norway, Borneo, and Papua New Guinea to name a few), before moving to the East Bay. These days, I spend much of my time bike riding through the Berkeley and Oakland hills or surfing various waves around the Bay Area.

I absolutely love Rockridge and I'm sure you'll quickly appreciate why after getting a taste of all that this vibrant neighborhood has to offer!
