Cette maison de ville magnifiquement rénové offre 2 étages de surface habitable avec 2 vérandas et un porche. En bas se trouve le salon confortable et spacieux avec vue sur l'aménagement paysager tropical et arbres matures. Hors de la salle de séjour est une moustiquaire en lanai avec table et chaises. La cuisine pleine grandeur comprend un lave-vaisselle, un four micro-ondes, un four / cuisinière, un grand réfrigérateur côte à côte et des comptoirs en granit. Il y a une belle salle à manger avec vue, et aussi des sièges supplémentaires au bar / comptoir de la cuisine. Une laveuse et une sécheuse sont disponibles dans la buanderie. Il y a aussi un demi-bain en bas.

A l'étage se trouvent les 2 chambres avec salles de bain attenantes. La chambre principale est décorée avec goût dans un décor Tommy Bahama avec un lit queen size, dressing, une terrasse privée et une baignoire à jets dans la salle de bain. La chambre d'hôtes lumineuse et gaie offre des lits superposés avec une combinaison twin / full et un lit double supplémentaire. Il y a aussi un pont supplémentaire situé entre les deux chambres pour plus d'espace extérieur. TV et DVD sont fournis dans le salon ainsi que les deux chambres, et l'unité offre également le câble et WiFi gratuit.

La maison est équipée avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour s'amuser à la plage, y compris des chaises de plage, des serviettes de plage, des «boogie boards», des seaux de sable et des pelles et parasol. Tout ce dont vous avez besoin est une lotion solaire et votre maillot de bain!

Également prévu pour votre plaisir sur place sont une piscine chauffée, des courts de tennis, sauna, douches, salle de loisirs avec table de billard et un salon où diverses rencontres sociales sont prévues. Bugs, screens had holes in them, carpet is stained and dirty. The thermostat is set and cannot be changed. Dark, some of the windows will not stay up. Not a lot of light coming in. Needs a renovation.If you are still reading this review… location is pretty good and the pool is nice.

The owners are doing a full renovation on the unit this year. The thermostat can be changed. It's possible that this guest did not know how to operate it. Our maintenance team is available 24/7 and we encourage our guests to call or email us with any issue that comes up during their stay.

Great place for family of 5!

We have stayed in Siesta Key many times at different properties and this is our second year at Bay Oaks. We have a family of five teenagers/adults and it is very difficult to find a place where each person can have a mattress! Overall, the Bay Oaks condos are a little older and could use a few upgrades. However, this condo was perfect for our family. There was plenty of room for everyone and 3 balconies to spread out and have quiet space. The bedrooms are huge with plenty of closet space. There are three total bathrooms on two different levels, and the building is very quiet. The property manager was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. For the price and the location- this is perfect for a family of five!

Bay Oaks

The unit was spacious and the property manager was wonderful to work with. However the unit needs updating. The furniture and TV’s are very outdated. Not a very comfortable house especially after a long day on the beach. Unfortunately we did not use the 3 outdoor patios because the furniture was very old and dirty. I think for the price the owners could update the unit to make it more comfortable and inviting.

Siesta key stay

The unit was fine. Location was good. Plenty of room although certainly needs some updating. The AC went out a week before we left. It was replaced the day we left. The property manager offered a portable unit but we declined as they are noisy and wouldn’t work in a two story unit very well. I asked for some refund for putting up with the heat and humidity but he never responded after Multiple efforts.

Great Location Relaxed Townhouse

It was my brother and his wife; and me and the three kids: 13, 10, and 8 staying for a week. Looking at all the options, I was worried that it would be fancy schmancy and my kids would break/stain/destroy something. It was perfect. The location and the amenities were perfect for our needs. The location, while not on the actual beach, was fantastic. We didn't want to spent the extra few hundred dollars to be on the other side of the road. We didn't have the extra 500+ dollars to be on the actual beach either. So, if we weren't going to be on the actual beach, what does it matter if we are on one side of the road or other? Either way, we will still have to walk. Plus, the town house is located close to the front of the complex, making it incredibly easy to get in and out, and also shortening the inevitable walk to the beach. Another added plus, is the upstairs hallway balcony, it is fantastic for watching the sun set. The amenities were just what we needed. It would be nice for a flat screen TV and all the fancy new electronics at our disposal, and if that is what you are looking for, move on to another. However, there was fairly fast WiFi, and cable TV. Yet, we did not come to the beach to watch TV. We came for the pool, surf, and sand. The pool was heated and in the shade a huge plus for families with kids. The furniture was perfect for lounging, and I didn't have to worry about my children staining or marring any of the fabrics. They are kids after all. The whole feel of the place was relaxing and enjoyable. There are three actual balconies, however if you include the one at the entrance there are four, and we used that as a place to sit and chat as well. The kitchen was stocked with the typical turnkey items: serving and eating dishes, drink ware, cooking and eating utensils, pots, and pans. The appliances were clean and worked well. We made a couple of large family dinners and they went off without a hitch. One thing I would like to mention is the fact that there is an apartment below. We, being a large group coming in and out all the time, made too much noise for the renters below. It is hard to walk softly on tile, and even doing our best to be quiet, was a bit rough on us to constantly be mindful, and rough on the neighbors when we forgot. Overall, it was a great experience. We have rented several places on Siesta Key and will keep this location as one of our very favorites. The location and amenities made it a place to return to.

Oak bay units

Location was great , we had everything we needed close by. But the unit itself was filthy , very dusty, there where ants in the kitchen and the toilet and bathtub did not draining properly.

Pest control has been out, the drains have been cleared, and our cleaning staff has been informed that the cleaning was not up to our standards. For future guests, if you find something out of order upon your arrival or during your stay please let us know right away. summer vacation

the cleanliness and location of this property were great. the condo came stocked more than we expected. overall a great stay but we spoke with one of the owners and he told us it would be okay to check out later with no charge since our flight didn't leave till 730pm, the day of checkout they called us last minute and told us we needed to be gone by noon which left us outside with three children and a pregnant woman in the heat then at the airport for over 6 hours, for this alone we will not be renting this property again.

Due to our enhanced cleaning procedures in response to Covid-19 our cleaners need extra time to clean our properties. Our normal check-out time is 10am, but we gave these guests an extension until noon due to their flight schedule. We were unable to extend the check out any later because our cleaning crew needed access to the property to clean and sanitize before the next guests arrived.

Too far from beach

The property was nice, clean, had everything you need to cook and a TON of things to use at beach. The ad made it sound closer to beach than it is. 4 blocks is really closer to a mile walk! We used the tram, but will definitely stay closer to beach next time. The pool was nice BUT had so many rules it was ridiculous ! The first thing your greeted with when you arrive is a list of what will get you evicted immediately... not very welcoming. The grilling area was near bay and had nice picnic area. We enjoyed that. The kids fished from pier. Overall great vacation but you either need a car or stay closer to beach access.

The closest beach access to the unit is beach access #12, which is directly across from the Stickney Point bridge. It is about 4 blocks, or 1/2 mile to beach access #12. The public beach where the lifeguard stands, concession stand and restrooms are located is about 1 mile from the unit. The free Siesta Key Breeze trolley is a great option for transportation. Hop on the trolley and ride to Siesta Village, the public beach, turtle beach, and everywhere in between.

Siesta Key Condo

Overall, this property would be a great place to stay...we just happened to stay during a week that it had issues. Upon arriving, the air conditioning did not work and it was 86 degrees in the condo. Needless to say our first day was not pleasant. They were not able to get the air working until 11:00 p.m. that night which required someone in our condo for several hours in and out with their equipment during a rain storm. At one point we were told that they did not think they were going to be able to fix it that night. Then after purchasing a week's worth of groceries we found out that the refrigerator was not working properly and would not cool our food. We had to keep rotating frozen water bottles into the refrigerator to try to keep our food cold. We had to do this for the first three days until the refrigerator finally caught up. Even at its coolest setting it was never completely as cold as it should have been for our dairy and meat items. Needless to say, it was not a relaxing first three days of vacation. Also, the freezer drain did not work so there was a puddle of water continually in front of the freezer door that we had to keep mopping up the water so no one would slip and fall on the tile floor. I called about the issues, but I did not feel that the refrigerator was taken seriously enough. Since it was a known problem, I don't feel it should have been rented until the refrigerator was replaced. Had we not had those two issues, we definitely would have enjoyed our stay at this condo. It is located in a convenient place on Siesta Key and we had easy access to the Village and Public Beach. The kitchen is well equipped with items needs to prepared meals.

It was unfortunate that the AC unit was not working properly upon the renter's arrival. Fortunately we were able to get an AC company to do an after-hours repair that evening at considerable expense to the owner. The refrigerator was replaced during the renter's stay. The unit now has a new refrigerator.

The vacation I needed

We came to Sarasota for our son's graduation trip. We moved from this area about 14 years ago, so we decided it was time to come back for a visit. We had 3 teenage boys with us and there was plenty of room for all of us. I really enjoyed the three different balconies. The kitchen was very well stocked, there was enough small appliances and cooking utensils to make whatever you wanted to. It is close enough to the main Siesta entrance to have a short drive, it is also a short drive to the village. Being on the south end of the key allowed for quick access to the condo from the city. We would definitely rent this condo again.

Siesta Key Bay Oaks VRBO

We very much enjoyed this property! Great pool area! Condo maybe could use some updates, but, was very clean! We really appreciated having a laundry room in condo. Also appreciated nice, big beach towels provided! Would definitely rent again!

Outdated and Filthy

This condo is not as depicted in pictures as it has aged and has not been taken care of for years. It was Incredibly Filthy Everywhere! The rental agency sent in a cleaning service, carpet cleaners and plumbers to make it decent for us to stay. The 1980 appliances were barely functional. Even the 3 lanais and patio furniture were black with grime. We were not pleased with the situation but toughed it out and stayed on for the month. The location is not close to the beach. So we drove to the beach every day as we bring along a beach cart, cooler, umbrellas etc.that does not fit onto beach transportation. We do not recommend this rental!!

The unit was not "filthy" when the guests checked in. It had been cleaned prior to their arrival, but they were not satisfied with the cleaning so we sent the cleaners back. We also refunded their cleaning fee. To be fair, the cleaning crew that cleaned prior to their arrival was a new company and didn't clean up to our standards. We no longer use that company on any of our properties. A carpet cleaning was also done at the guest request. The photos of this condo were taken approximately 2 years ago and are a good representation of the unit. This condo was rented for the entire month of January and those guests were very happy with the unit. We also have return guests who book year after year. All appliances in the unit work well, and no complaints have been received regarding their functionality. The appliances are not from the 80's. The unit is approximately a 15 minute walk to the closest beach access point, Access #12. Some Bay Oaks guests feel that is a close walk, and others do not. That is subjective based on individual opinion.

Charming cozy siesta condo

It was beautiful, comfortable, and clean. Only negative would be it's a bit of a walk to a beach access. But that's ok thanks to the free trolley. The pool is beautiful and the property is well landscaped. I would definantly rent this place qgain
