3 Bedroom, 2 Full bathroom Pet friendly cottage.

This beautiful resort cottage is designer decorated, with coastal charm and lots of white airy furniture. You will find all the amenities needed to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. With two bedrooms and one bathroom on the main floor, a separate bedroom with on suite bathroom in the loft area, and a queen sofa bed in the living room, this cottage comfortably sleeps eight. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare meals and dine in comfort while the open concept floor plan makes it easy to visit with friends and family.

Come back from the beach and have dinner on the patio, enjoy a family game night or cozy up for a movie on the reclining armchairs, sit by the gas fireplace with a good book, and enjoy the beauty of your West Coast surroundings – Mermaid Cottage will be the perfect vacation spot for the whole family.

You are welcome to bring your up to 2 dogs with manager approval only.

The cottage community is along popular Resort Drive in Parksville BC and offers a heated indoor pool with hot tub and an overlooking gym area. Also located in the complex is a mini golf course with bumper cars and laser tag, a small bistro/coffee house, a day spa and hair salon. This is a great location within walking distance to Rathtrevor provincial park and its huge sandy beach, restaurants, great spas, old growth forests, nice hiking and bike trails.

Everything was excellent from our initial booking, communication, check in and above all, Mermaid Cottage itself! The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking essentials, including coffee and spices. Comfy beds and a cozy atmosphere for relaxing, truly made our stay very enjoyable! We would book Mermaid Cottage again in a heartbeat! It was a Christmas to remember!

The place is wonderful, with lots to do around it.Just be aware that bathroom amenities are minimal...just hand soap. Bring your own tissue, shampoo etc.. there seems to be an ample supply of towels though. Make sure you check out the front hall closet for pool and beach supplies (towels, folding chairs).

The location was ideal for our holiday. We visited the beach, went whale watching and visited relatives in Qualicum Beach. The house had everything we needed and was spotless. The kitchen was well-stocked so we had all the dishes, cooking utensils, glasses, pots & pans, etc we needed for meals. The area is lovely, beautiful vegetation and we enjoyed seeing the rabbits.

What a lovely, well appointed cottage. We've stayed in the area every year for over a decade and we enjoyed this stay the best! That's saying a lot. On top of the great location, stylish furnishings and well stocked kitchen, we particularly appreciated the 11:00 am check out which had us enjoying the last day of our vacation as much as we did the first! Many thanks, we look forward to returning again.

Great location! Plenty of room and a very comfortable, clean cottage. The beds were also very comfortable and the loft bedroom and ensuite were perfect for our teenager! I would definitely stay again and recommend the cottage to anyone looking for accommodation for a larger group in that area.

Mermaid Cottage

The TV was absolutely terrible. We are seniors and do not use apps to watch TV. We like cable TV. We pay enough for our stay and should get real TV(cable). Also, the tube is extremely high and the telephone shower must have 7 ft tall. Real problem reaching it. No bars to help getting in and out of the tub. That is dangerous so hop this helps for future renters.

The property is wonderful. Manager was awesome. Only issue was pump on pool broke day of arrival, but we were able to use nearby resort pool at no extra cost. Definitely staying here again. Thank you for such a nice visit.

Relaxing, short getaway

We had a great stay. The place was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. Dahlia responded to all our questions in a timely manner. The only downside was that for the time we were there, the hot tub was not functioning properly.

Very disappointing that the gas fireplace was out of service and I had requested a complete listing of everything provided in the kitchen but didn't receive one so I brought many items that it turned out were provided. Found it difficult to find the unit as you can't see the cabin numbers in the dark.

Nice place!

Property was the same as other places I’ve stayed in this complex. Only thing that would of been nice is to have proper cable and not Roko tv as no shows that we could watch.
