Longtemps appelé "The Summer Place", cette retraite isolée de la riviÚre Kalamazoo est IDEAL YEAR ROUND. Le Summer Place est à quelques pas du centre-ville de Saugatuck, rempli de boutiques, galeries, restaurants et discothÚques. Il ne pouvait y avoir de meilleur endroit pour s'installer.

This was the perfect place for our first trip to Michigan! Very clean, quiet and we slept in every day so it was ideal for a relaxing week. We loved the restaurants, especially Malu for breakfast, Morro’s for pizza and Pennyroyal. Also unique shops and stores. We loved walking everywhere and it was safe and people were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again. Our host, Janet, was kind and helpful in every way.

We love this little cottage. It’s just perfect for the two of us. We always get a warm greeting from the owner and the place has so many little amenities that make it welcoming and cozy. The short walk to town is perfect. Excellent in all ways.

Janet was super helpful and friendly, so the setup felt like an old style b&b rather than just a place to sleep. Very peaceful considering it’s an easy walk to everywhere in town. Very well stocked with snacks and Keurig coffee. We took the beeline bike trail to Holland and enjoyed it. Don’t miss the hike to the Crows Nest on the other side of the river. Uncommon Grounds coffee and muffins are worth the wait. Back alley Pizza nearby in Douglas was excellent too.

We loved our cozy cabin. Very, very clean and perfectly located to the downtown area. 3 minute walk to water and restaurants. Listened to music at Wicks Park which is also in walking distance from house. We took our dog and she loved all the places to walk to. Janet was a great hostess and very helpful with where to go and things to do. This place is a hidden gem. Highly recommend for your next getaway. We will come back and stay here.

Excellent stay

The cottage was the perfect “overflow” accommodations for our family reunion. Great location, clean with lots of nice little touches (like home baked muffins!). Janet communicated all the check in information clearly and met us at the door the morning we checked in. Would definitely stay here again.

Wedding Weekend

We attended a wedding in Holland and decided to stay close to the water in Saugatuck at this quaint cottage near town. It was within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants, and only 15 min. from the other guests & friends staying in the Castle Park neighborhood. Janet, our host, was a great communicator and welcomed us with a walk-thru and answered any questions we had. Would definitely recommend others to enjoy time in Saugatuck and the surrounding area. A lovely getaway! Thank you Janet!

Janet’s cottage was the perfect stay in Saugatuck. The location was perfect, the parking spot was incredibly helpful and Janey was a terrific host. The cottage was spotless and perfect for 2 people. Also, Janet baked us muffins one day and provided us with mini champagne bottles to celebrate a birthday. It was perfect! I could not recommend it more.

Just adorable!

We were so pleased with our stay! The place was super cute, the owner so kind and everything was SO CLEAN!!! There were lots of little touches that made you feel at home
muffins upon arrival, drinks in the mini fridge and everything you need to make tea and coffee. We would definitely stay there again!!!

Great Location and parking!

We had a great weekend!! Rental is walkable to everything. Pet friendly. Owners Janet and Fred were welcoming during check in process. Homemade muffins when we checked in!
