We had a fantastic stay! My boyfriend and I were celebrating our first anniversary having met at Mountain Creek lodge a year ago. The Condo is nicely decorated, very clean, has all you could need in the kitchen, a gorgeous view of the mountain, and was convenient to everywhere we visited (hiking at Stairway to Heaven, Warwick Winery, BBQ dinner). Our hosts were amazing and provided all the detail we would need, were easy to reach with questions, and shared plenty of recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the condo and our hosts!!

This was a very last minute spur of the moment 1 day/night birthday getaway for a much needed change of scenery. The hosts were great and stayed in constant communication whilst being overseas at the time. I really appreciated this as I know from my own experience as someone who’s had tenants that it’s not an easy task. The condo was cozy and comfortable and all needs met. Loved having the fireplace whilst also enjoying the beautiful view of the mountains. The sauna and hot tub on the property were a great bonus. A very big thank you to our hosts Sergio and Millie!!

Perfect getaway

This property is a perfect place to relax and enjoy all the amenities without having to leave the property. The condo itself is geared for comfort. Very cute condo. Kitchen had a sufficient supply of pans and utensils to cook. There was a dishwasher, but I handwashed the dishes/pots. Bathroom was large in size and nicely decorated with modern flooring and countertops. Thank you to the host for providing "soft" toilet paper (unlike some hotels which use rough toilet paper. Hot tub was toasty warm. Beautiful lobby with plenty of other amenities (pool table, nice gym, coffee bar/sandwich shop, fireplace). Sufficiently underground parking available. Internet was a bit of a challenge at times.

First off, Milagros, our host is amazing. Through messaging, everything we needed days leading to our stay was provided, from access code, directions and instructions. Parking was included in our unit, as well as pool access. All of the information was provided ahead of time, allowing an online check in. Milagros also took the time to message us to ensure we understand how to get onto the property. And checked in to see how we were. Parking is indoor, included without additional charge. It is in the basement of the building. Large enough for larger SUVs. The apartment/room is very clean and inviting. The condo has many resources that accommodates a family, especially for young babies. Kitchen is clean and well kept. Having a working electric stovetop, microwave, and refrigerator is a game changer. Everything worked well, and to be honest, you need this type of amenity in the room. Living space is cozy and TVs works well! Beautiful view of the pool and mountains. The room is very modern, and up to date. Ac unit is controllable and is good! Bed is king size and spacious enough. Clean! Bathroom is up to date and is also well maintained. Resourceful for a family! This condo felt like home and we will definitely book again in the future!!! In terms of the property, outside of our room, the property’s pool is nice, along with the heated pool and jacuzzi! It wasn’t packed during our stay. There was a pool table and foosball table in the lobby. Very nice!

Vernon Township is in Sussex County New Jersey, USA. It is located about 1 hour from New York City and was established on April 8, 1793. Iron mining was prevalent during the mid-to-late 19th century. Mines such as Canister Mine, Williams Mine, and the Pochuck Mine created industry which spawned local businesses and brought rail travel to the town.
Today Vernon and the immediate area is an outdoor lover’s paradise. Here you will find a landscape consisting of residential and resort communities, farmland, apple orchards, pumpkin patches, bird watching, barns, horse farms and stables, lakes, fishing, and just so much natural beauty. The famous Appalachian Trail (AT) even runs through it! You will be amazed on what you will find only 1 hour outside of New York City.
