North Captiva is accessed by ferry only, water taxi, private charter, or your own private boat or plane. Just a short boat ride away from the hustle and bustle of the mainland, a place to get away from it all! Spend the day exploring the miles and miles of remote and
sandy white beaches. Shelling is out of this world, collect some of the most
beautiful shells and sand dollars you have ever seen! Bring your fishing pole,
there is great fishing right from the beaches or off the local docks on the island,
or hire a fishing charter for a day for a real fishing adventure (Snapper,
grouper, snook, redfish, Seatrout, are a few of the favorite fish in the area).

Enjoy the five miles of pristine, sandy beaches. Walk for miles and
miles, go Bird watching, swim in the crystal clear waters of the
caribbean side of Florida, it’s like being in the Bahamas, but it’s only
a short boat ride away from the mainland! There are miles of Preserve
with remote beaches, that you may not see another person all day. Take
a hike in the nature preserve and bring a picnic for a deserted romantic
lunch by the sea.
Great food and tropical drinks are available at the North Captiva Island
Club pool bar, or at Mainstay Bar and restaurant. You do not need a membership to Go to the Pool Bar at the Club. Over the Water restaurant is a must. Experience the food & atmosphere at Mainstay or Over the Water
Restaurants – both popular restaurants on the island.
Tour the island's sandy roads on your beach buggy.
Rent bicycles, kayaks , paddleboards, boats, right on the island from
“Boats and Fun”.
Watch the manatees and dolphins play.
Shop at the island gift shops, take a ferry or a private charter to do
some island hopping to nearby Captiva, Cabbage Key, Sanibel, Cayo
Costa, or Boca Grande.
Or JUST RELAX. You're on Island Time.
Imagine the 5 miles of island and beaches marvelously buffered from
