This cabin operates on a private well system. While there is typically plenty of water for normal use, please be mindful of usage. Simple steps like spacing out showers and running appliances at different times help maintain comfortable water pressure and conserve resources.

Regular pest control maintenance is performed but as this is a mountain home, pests like ladybugs, millipedes, and other insects do find their way indoors, especially with the opening and closing of doors and windows. This is very common in the fall for the area as they seek shelter from the cold. They are harmless and do not bite or sting.

This is a true mountain getaway, and part of the experience includes the road up to the cabin! The short drive does have some steep, winding sections. As it was paved over a decade ago, there is some wear. Please drive slowly and with caution.

While the drive can be intimidating for those unfamiliar with mountain roads, a variety of vehicles including coupes, sedans, minivans, and SUVs (not all of them AWD) have successfully navigated the road.
