It doesn’t really get much better than Kim and John’s place, and I say that as someone who not only lives down here but has spent considerable time in various ultra high-end homes and resorts.There’s not much that can be said that hasn’t already been mentioned, but I’ll try. First, John and Kim are truly exceptional hosts. I’d go so far as to say we’ve come away feeling like we’ve made new friends. They’re genuinely warm, attentive, and welcoming, running a property that feels both effortless and incredibly well cared for.The house itself exudes local charm, history, and happiness. Every corner is thoughtfully designed—organized, pristine, luxurious, fresh, clean and inviting. Not a single detail has been overlooked, from the dĂ©cor to the amenities, making it a space that’s both comfortable and memorable.For visitors from out of town, the location couldn’t be more perfect. Just half a block from the sand, with shops, cafes, and restaurants mere minutes away, it’s a dream for families and travelers alike.Our family had a truly wonderful holiday stay here, and we can’t wait to come back. This isn’t just a rental—it’s a home away from home, and Kim and John’s hospitality makes it feel like an extended family experience. Newport Beach has never felt more special.

Our five-night stay couldn’t have been more perfect! From the moment we booked this adorable cottage to after we arrived, Kimberlee went over and above our expectations in communication and all the special touches and amenities that were provided. We cooked a lot, and every item we needed was available, even a small cooler and ice packs for our lunch on our Duffy boat adventure! We walked to the bay and ocean and restaurants and grocery store. The location is perfect. Quiet, safe, and so convenient! The front porch is especially lovely with all the beautiful potted succulents. The home itself was beautiful, with an amazing front and back patio and adorable decorations throughout. It was the perfect size for my husband and I. We loved the location as it was walking distance to a grocery store, lots of shopping and nice restaurants, not to mention the short and lovely walk down the street to the beach. The hosts are delightful and we found the accommodations a little touches to be just what we needed to relax and enjoy our time.

Super clean, cozy home. The location to the beach is perfect. The home was stocked with all that we needed. Parking can be difficult on the street, there’s pay parking at the end of the street which is 26 for 6 hrs. We will definitely stay again, we will just use Uber or Lyft next time.

We had an amazing stay at this charming cottage in Newport Beach! From the moment we arrived everything exceeded our expectations. The cottage was spotless, beautifully decorated with a coastal vibe and had all the items needed to make our stay relaxing. Fantastic stay with greats hosts. John is very communicative and helpful, even saved a parking spot for us right out front! The location is perfect—block from the sand and Pavillions. FABULOUS EXPERIENCE

I brought my daughter for spring break and for her 13th birthday! The house is clean! Mattress is SO comfortable. Quiet street. Less than 5 minute walk to the beach. Beach chairs and umbrella provided. Bikes as well! John and Kimberlee welcomed us and made us feel right at home! We will definitely visit again!

In 1970, this dream became a reality! Come enjoy Pete's dream with us!

The property location is ideal for fun in the sun! Great public beach a block away with soft sand and friendly water. Close to all the activities and fun Newport is known for, plus the convenience of a very close grocery store (Pavillions), pubs, bank, dry cleaners and laundry mat. Beautiful sunsets too!
